This is the quintessential skirt for evenings and formal occasions. It’s a textured crepe type fabric that is just slightly sheer but with layers not at all see through. If you are tall this will be perfect, if you are less tall just go with heels or pull it up a little. I did the try before you buy and that made it super easy. I’m even getting a second different style one and hoping they restock the velvet one. It’s very slenderizing and doesn’t have a lot of volume, but you still have plenty of room, it doesn’t feel constricting or tight anywhere. Full elastic waist that you pull on. I went “up” a size so I would have room for my backside if a gain a few pounds. I’m chonky in the midsection and the skirt fit just fine at the waist etc. it’s very well made, it doesn’t seem to need ironing and it’s lightweight and easy to pack. It goes great with any top you like. Edit I got 3 of the 4 possible styles, the A line maxi, the layered hem maxi and the fishtail velvet and they are all outstanding. I love these skirts!!!!

I absolutely love this skirt. This is my second time buying this same skirt. It has an elastic wait and, without making you look fat. It has a beautiful flow to it. My first one I've had 9 years, and it still looks great. The only reason I bought a second one is because I lost a ton of weight.

I had a formal wedding to attend and needed something. I had this very skirt in mind and when it arrived, it was perfect. Worked out well. I tried A LOT of dresses/skirts and this one hit the mark. Very comfortable and flowy. I love it and will wear it again. I can see this dressed up or down. Versatile.

I love the fabric. I purchased to match my AE velvet tuxedo top. When I received it I was taken aback by the waistband. It looks unfinished for a skirt that is priced at nearly $100. There is an elastic band on the backside that sort of folds behind the velvet on front. I purchased another velvet skirt from a different brand for $35 and the band is very nicely finished, and it also had a nice feel to the fabric. The second is just a little fuller. Not sure if I will keep this for the price. It’s for a formal event and if I take the jacket off I don’t want to see elastic poking up from the backside. I plan to wear a sequin top with the ensemble, but will most likely tuck the top in. I’m up in the air over this skirt. The quality doesn’t seem to match that of the velvet tuxedo jacket/top.

This is weird. I bought a L and it fit okay - even the length and I'm 5 foot 8. Decided to try an extra large. Prefered the hang of that one, was going to return the first one and keep the second, but then also saw there are 2 kinds of skirts - a slight difference, so decided to try a L in other style to see if it looked different. I received a large PETITE and I'm tall so the length is a bit too short on this third one -but the fit is better than the normal large. Can't tell exactly why but it's a perfect skirt other than the length. I did NOT order petite so. I checked my order...So... I'm at a loss at present and confused! I love the petite L that I didn't order the best. I would buy another full length and even keep this one if I could figure out how to even order it. I may write the seller. All in all, this is a lovely skirt. It's understated, elegant, under-stated and perfect. I wish it came in more colors - I'd buy it. The version I like best is the A-line.I only took a star off because the sizing is so wonky - also the ordering. The skirt itself is definitely a five star skirt - especially the petite version. It falls beautifully, even if a person has curves. I have a small waist, larger hips, not much tummy. Hard to find a skirt that falls this nicely.

I bought this for a holiday party that ended up being canceled due to Covid in the host's family. So I had to return it. However, I really loved the way it fit. I'm a full-figured gal with ample thighs and hips, so I was concerned how a form-fitting skirt would look on me. But it fit very well, and did not accentuate areas I did not want to flaunt. (FYI, I did wear shapewear underneath, so that probably helped how it looked.) I did not keep this skirt because I am losing weight and might not fit into it next year. Otherwise, I might add it as a holiday staple.

Just received. Should've listened to the reviews that said the seams and waistband were odd. The waistband is twisting, does not stay flat because the two layers of fabric were not properly sewn together and are pulling. Can't seem to get aligned/straight, so the side seams are puckering and making it look even cheaper and poorly constructed and it's uncomfortable. Almost looks like a long black slip. The medium petite length is fine, but this seems to run small or just doesn't fit right. If anything especially because it was described as a-line I was concerned this would be too roomy.

Fits a little loose but right now in my present shape, the roominess is ok. Length is good and it is very comfortable. Fabric is lightweight and flows nicely. Good quality made well.

Love the flow and form. Material is perfect. If I were to improve on it, I would create a more elegant waistline (perhaps adding a band over the elastic waste). I am wearing it with a blouse that will cover it but have another shorter blouse that would look better with it if it had a band over the waistline. I am otherwise thrilled with the fit and look!

Flattering fit. Nice length. Easy to vary your look by teaming with different tops.

Fits larger than expected, I usually wear a size 10 or 12 in pants and my waist ranges from 30in to 35in depending on the day. A size small in this skirt fits perfectly.

Fabric didn't seem to bad, but very see through even with the lining that it comes with. Top seem is not sown properly so very hard to get to sit evenly. It's very long I had about a foot of fabric on the floor!🙈 Very form fitting fabric, which I did not expect, as the pic shows that it flares out nicely. The skirt is not wide at the bottom It's like a tube skirt. Definitely not worth $110!!! Very disappointed. Will return
