Atlas Pet Carrier | Small Pet Carrier for Dogs & Cats w/Top & Front Door Access

I ordered this for a roadtrip with my cats, super sturdy and adorable. My cats loved it and usually hate carriers. Love that it has two doors. Great deal.

I have a 10 lb cat that has panic attacks when we take him in the car. This carrier helps him to not be as afraid because he can see more of what's going on around him. I can also easily open the door and give him reassurance when he needs it and he doesn't continually scratch to get out. The carrier was easy to assemble and to use. The door on the top does flex a little when he is inside but not enough to compromise the latches on either door. Our other cat is a big boy that is 13 lbs. I wouldn't use the smaller carrier for him. I am looking to purchase the larger carrier for him.

I haven’t used it to take cat anywhere, and cannot tell how it will hold up, but it looks good for trips to vet and the like. I wanted a crate that would stack with my others and this works fantastic. I also like that the front gate can be opened either way (and even removed easily). The handle is comfortable, though I would hold crate more securely if leaving house with a cat in it. The fasteners being all plastic, I worry a bit about durability. All in all, (and not having traveled with yet) for careful use, I love it.

Top opening lid is really convenient size is good, and plenty of visibility so cats don't get scared.

Cute, perfect size for bigger cat. However, arrived damaged. No choice but to keep it due to absolute need. But can I carry the cat in the carrier by the handle, NOPE. See picture. Not worth the money.

I am a veterinary technician and have seen and worked with many types of carriers. The top closures and front door closures of this one are NOT easy to work with. Usually there is a spring loaded assembly for the front door and sometimes the top in other carriers . This has neither and is difficult to open and shut securely with the TABS that are used. If hadn’t waited so long to put this together (and discarded the shipping material), I would have returned it without hesitation. I won’t use it and would not even donate it because I am concerned that someone not familiar with it may end up with a loose cat when trying to secure it. The rest of the carrier seems well made and size/structure is fine. If the closures were improved upon, this would be a good product. But if you can’t feel secure that your pet won’t get loose or that anyone else trying to close it won’t do it correctly, it’s not worth the chance. The owner is not always present to instruct the vet staff how to close this carrier and they should not have to guess. This was not a inexpensive carrier but I guess I have to take a loss on it.

I liked the openness of the design (as did my Kittens). It was easy to put together & was perfect for taking them to their Vet Appointments. My normal size 6month old Kitten at 6.5lbs. fits but can't sit upright now without ducking her head but my pint sized 5lb. 7month old Kitten can. I only transported 1 at a time in this carrier but when I first adopted them they did fit together. I feel this carrier is good for cats under 8lbs.

I needed a cat carrier and went for Ferplast as being seemingly a reputable make. It took me ages to put it together, firstly because of the usual puzzling diagrams and no text and secondly because when you FINALLY get one difficult to put together (really stiff!) another bit won't work. Finally, I got most of it sorted with the use of much swearing and pliers, and found that the sliding catches for the lid absolutely wouldn't slide shut. No WAY can this be used as anything but a waste of space. Utterly unfit for purpose. I will have to order another carrier AND get one from Pets Corner to cover myself. What absolute rubbish!

ok carrier. The front door isn't very sturdy and might pop open. Can't open without completely popping out. Doesn't swing open like normal carriers.

This carrier is not worth half the money they're asking! The quality is cheap--the handle broke as I was trying to assemble and the top door piece did not match the slats that it was designed to fit in, therefore, I wasn't able to close OR LOCK the top door of the carrier--which was why I wanted this carrier in the first place!I was rehoming the day this carrier was shipped to me and needed it so I wasn't able to send back. I was furious as this carrier was supposed to make my mom's cat less stressed and easier to transport. I had to hold the top down while driving as her cat kept trying to pop it's head out of the top--knowing it wasn't latched! The poor quality of this thing made it MORE stressful and MORE challenging!Putting it together was relatively easy even though it didn't come with written instructions (only vague picture instructions). But honestly, who cares about easy assemply when it's a piece of cheap plastic!Complete waste of money!
