As other reviewers stated, it is tight to mount a camera onto this harness. Likewise it is more difficult to remove a camera from this harness; I consider this a good thing when participating in exuberant activities.As others have said you will find it easier to use a J-mount rather than the standard mount. Some downgraded the Chest Harness because it was not included, I don't recall seeing anything stating that it was included with the purchase.I am 6'3" and weigh in at around 230 pounds. It is easily adjustable for a snug and comfortable fit. At the other extreme, I sized it to its smallest size, then pinned the torso straps even smaller before placing it on my 7 year old niece before turning her loose in a tourist attraction. That was an entertaining video. I haven't used it enough to know for sure how resilient the elastic in the straps will be.I have used it while bicycling and find it not to be well suited for this activity. The reason being that the scene becomes framed by my arms. A helmet or handlebar mount would be better in this situation. That was on a road bike with drop handlebars. The bracketing is a bit more acceptable when on a mountain bike. I had great fun using it while practicing bait casting with a dummy lure; the family dog would chase the rubber "plug" and I would play her like a bass.

This is a great replacement for the official Go Pro chesty mount which can run you $30+. Unfortunately this was one of my first purchases for my new Go Pro and I had no idea you needed what's called the "J-Mount" to use the chest mount effectively. I docked 1 star as the listing doesn't make this glaring omission obvious. Without the j-mount you'll end up angling the camera about 20 degrees down as it will get stuck against the plastic chest mount plate. Completely my fault since I didn't do the research, but would be helpful if seller made it more obvious it didn't include the mount such as adding "Strap only no mount" to the title. In the end I had to grab the j-mount while on vacation in Japan and that sucker was expensive $30 (Yodabashi.com). Do yourself a favor and get the mount with this as it's only a couple $$ more. Never hurts to have extra mounts.

When I bought this unit, I was a bit worried if it would fit me properly, as I am a very large individual. Rest assured, I wear and XXL armored motorcycle jacket, and this fits just fine. 1 thing that is not apparent from the description is that the straps are actually ELASTIC not nylon as I imagined. So there is quite a bit of stretch on all axix, for comfort. As well, there are 5 size adjustment points for a perfect fit. From height of unit on body to girth. All is covered. It is easy to slip in overhead, or you can detach one side from the chest plate, to remove 1 side, then off the top. I think the seller should update the listing, to include the fact that the straps are ELASTIC and stretch.

Fits super well and gets really great footage. It will adjust very large if you need it to and it's stretchy.I bought this knowing there was a chance I would lose my J-Hook by it getting jammed, but for $8 (and free shipping in combination with my other orders) it was worth the chance of needing to buy a new $8 J-Hook instead of a $40 GoPro brand chest mount. My J-Hook was generic and perhaps that is why it didn't fit well. The J-Hook got jammed part way in, but I yanked it in the rest of the way and plan on just leaving it in. Others seem to not have this problem so my J-hook might have just been too big to begin with.Worth the buy.

Given the pictures for this product, it is obvious it does NOT come with an adaptor. I didn't think anything of it, as I assumed the adaptor that comes with the GoPro would have worked. Turns out, you cannot get the camera to sit front facing (look up the official GoPro Chesty and see the picture to see what I mean)... with this Generic knock-off you need to purchase a separate adaptor, J-hook adapator.The Jhook is anywhere from 7 to 12 bucks... If you already have a J-hook adaptor this Chesty is a good purchase as long as you're okay leaving the Jhook adaptor in the chesty permanently, because it is EXTREMELY difficult to get out.If you also need the Jhook, spend the extra few bucks on another chesty mount that already includes it.Three stars because the product itself is okay. Fits great out of the package (I'm of medium build)... works as intended.Disappointed in the lack of info. Specify that this product requires a Jhook adaptor purchased separately.

...this is every bit as good as the one GoPro sells for about $36 and I paid well under $10. I have the new GoPro Hero 3+ and one of it's features is the 1080p wide angle lens. I have many different mounts already, but this is actually my favorite from the standpoint that my videos show my motorcycle dash (Harley V-Rod), my hands throttling/clutching and my foot shifting up/down in addition to the road and horizon ahead of me. I can't mount my camera on my helmet front because I use a modular flip up type and can't side mount the helmet because of the various undulating contours, so this is really my "Go To" mount. All I can tell you is BUY IT!Added: BTW, I wear an Extra Large Harley Davidson 3 pc jacket with shoulder pads and body armor and yet it fits over it easily!

I should have bought this when I first bought my GoPro years ago. Fits great (I am 2XL shirt size), appears that it would fit larger sizes comfortably, as well as much smaller sizes without being too loose. Strap stretches comfortably without being too tight. Definitely use the GoPro J-hook with this to angle the camera straight (separate purchase if you do not already have one). Handy for piano players if you want to record video of your hands while playing from your point of view. I have several GoPro mounts including the head strap, but this may become my favorite one. Also looks less dorky in public if worn with a black shirt, versus the "attractive" head strap that looks like you are a mad scientist. And the under $8 price cannot be beat. HIGHLY recommended!
