First one Amazon shipped did not work, but then....
I was trying to replace old RMF-TX100U for a Sony Bravia - XBR- 55X850C TV. I ordered this product. It didn't work, I called amazon and also contacted the seller. The seller made it right almost immediately and made sure I got the updated product that was compatible with my old unit to be able to use the voice recognition. I believe the seller was in China. This review is to say thank you to the seller. They jumped right in immediately with messages telling me exactly what was wrong and correcting the problem.

This remote works beautifully.

This product is trash.
Buttons began wearing out right away. Then battery went dead - put new batteries in. Then, after a few days the battery went dead and some of the buttons were completely worn out and were basically non-functional. So, I ordered the OEM remote (of Sony) and set it up and it was GREAT! From now on I'll stick with OEM replacements of whatever I need.

La télécommande ne répond jamais la première fois, il faut appuyer plusieurs fois sur la touche pour qu'elle finasse par fonctionnaire.

Replacement TV remote
I am pretty happy with the remote as my microphone wasn't working on the original. My complaint is that I can't use it for the TV~I have to use the cable remote for that. I've been told this is how it's supposed to be, but I have a hard time believing that the TV remote doesn't work on the TV that it came with.

Not worth the money.
Although this remote looks like the original Sony, the push buttons do not work well. They are not de-bounced very effectively. You will frequently get multiple entries of the channel number you wish. The volume button can also latch, ramping the volume all the way to the maximum value even after you release the button. I will look for another remote to replace this one.
