I recently purchased the HRYYDS Heatless Hair Curler, and it has completely revolutionized the way I achieve my beach waves. If you're on the lookout for a convenient and damage-free solution to get those perfect waves, this is the game-changer you've been waiting for. For starters, it comes in a box with the velvet curler, two hair clips, and two velvet scrunchies. There weren't any instructions in mine, so here's how it works in case you didn't get any either. I take the flat part and lay it down on top of my head. I used the two clips to keep it from sliding. Then I take my hair and wrap it back and around the curler adding pieces along the way (kind of like French braiding). Then when I'm done, I bend the roller up to trap the ends where I want them, which helps keep them from coming out messed up like I read in another review. I then tie the velvet scrunchies around my hair and the bent upwards curler. Then I remove the clips from the top of my head so they don't leave crimps in my hair (also complained about in another review). I prefer using it while my hair is slightly damp and then allowing it to dry naturally while wrapped in the curler. It takes a bit of time for it to dry but it is well worth it. I have found that doing it this way gives me curls that last the longest vs dry styling. I attached photos of before and after of my results for reference. I've used my curling wand since I bought it in Oct 2015! I love the results I got with it, but I still found myself only using it about once a month even though it's my favorite way to style my hair. As a teen, I used to sleep with my hair wet in a bun, and I mostly liked the curls it gave me, but they were never just right. So when I saw this heatless curls set, it seemed like a similar idea with results more like my curling wand. Other reviews made me want to try this one out, so I wanted to share mine, too, because some reviews also scared me off a little. Here's why I prefer the heatless curler over my curling wand: -Don't need an outlet. I could do this outside (and HAVE done it in my car). I've even used it without a mirror. I also travel a lot, so it's nice that I don't have to worry about an outlet adapter because this doesn't need an outlet at all! -I'm not worried about burning ANYTHING...not my fingers, not what I lay it on, not worried about it falling and burning something or someone or leaving it on. These obviously weren't terribly inconvenient since I used my curling wand without burning anything but my fingers a tiny bit in the 7 years I used it. But I did keep a glove with it at all times. -It's more minimal. I don't like cords, and with my curling wand, I kept a brush, glove, clip, and heat spray. I like that all I need for this is a plush product and spray (12 Benefits is my favorite for holding curl). I don't even use a brush! -The active part is faster. I don't have to wait for it to heat. And it's faster for me to put it up in the heatless curler. Of course it has to stay in my hair longer, though. -It's pretty even while in your hair. I watched a YouTube video where she tucked the ends in the back of her hair, and it was so lovely. I normally don't like my hair in an updo, but this is adorable. I wore it to a regency ball I was taking pictures at because I didn't fix my hair early enough. I got so many compliments. It did fall out during the dancing because I didn't secure it, but it was then beautiful curls. Win win. -Works even after just 2 hours. I thought I would only use it overnight, but one morning I decided I wanted to use it for church. I put it in before my bath, ate, and did my makeup. Couldn't believe how much it curled. Drawbacks of the heatless curler: -You don't know how it turns out until it's done...then it's hard to fix it if you don't like how it turns out unless you have a curling device or something fast. -Since I like how it looks while in my hair, I wish I'd gotten a different color. Something that goes with my hair more like brown or black or just a prettier shade of pink for the parts that show through. I did buy some champagne-colored satin material because someone said the silky material makes your hair less frizzy. It didn't hold my hair as well as this material, though, and I don't think it really makes my hair frizzy anyway. Overall, I'm so glad I gave this a try! Some people may want to keep their old curling products, too, but I prefer having more space in my home. If I'm only going to have one product, it's this one!

I want to start off saying that on their pictures it claims to be "premium rubber" with "underform with no folding creases" and thats a lie. As you can see from my pictures it infact has 3 folding creases. My hair reaches my chest and this is still a bit too long for me. The lenght also made it difficult to put in hair wrap. Does it work, yes. But is it comfortable? No. Because of the lenght along with keeping it togher in my head wrap I can hardly sleep when I would wear this. I can't sleep on my sides and while sleeping on my back theres a lot of tension around my nape. The reason I got this one is because of the satin which makes it super easy to take out in the morning. It does come with everything you need to do it right. I would say that I no longer use the tube because I value my sleep more than I do my hair. I do however use my bathrobe robe instead and then still use the hair clip and scrunchies and I can sleep like a baby that way.

Works great but it’s so uncomfortable to sleep in, only way you’ll sleep is on your back as this thing doesn’t squeeze down with weight. The material can pull your hair a bit, not great if you have bleached hair and you’re trying to take care if it. Wouldn’t purchase again, it was hyped up by an influencer on TikTok but you can definitely find better options out there.

I love this thing! I have long, thick and coarse hair and this thing works wonders on it. I do not sleep with it in. I spray a little leave in conditioner in my hair, wrap it according to the video and I clip both sides together in the back while I do my makeup and finish getting dressed. I take it out about 15 - 20 minutes later and the curls tend to be tight. I shake it out, add a little hair oil if it’s frizzy, and spray texture spray in it and that’s it! The curls relax quickly and settle into waves that last all day. The pictures attached are about 4 hours later and 8 hours later. There is a learning curve for sure, but I highly recommend this product.

Soooo easy!! I’m never using a curling iron or rollers ever again! First of all it takes like 2 minutes to put your hair in it. All I used was some light hair oil for some hydration (no mouse, hair spray, gel or anything like that). The first time I used it I got really big curls that went pretty far up on my head. Didn’t love the look with bangs so the next time I used it I didn’t start so high up on my head and I wrapped my hair around going downward a little more. This time the curls looked super natural and relaxed. I know this will depend on your hair but they held really well!!! Usually my hair has a hard time holding styles. One of my favorite uses I have figured out is curling the day before I plan on wearing a pony tail. I have really thin hair so my pony tails usually looks a little lack luster. This added such a beautiful curl and volume to my hair that made my ponytail look much more manicured and full. Also it’s so comfy to sleep in. I hardly even notice it and it doesn’t fall out.

I loved this heatless curler but it didn’t last long. Got deformed very quickly so I had to stop using it.

I have long wavy hair and I have always wanted curlier hair, I perm it every few years but don't like what it does to my hair - damage. When I saw a co-worker with beautiful wavy hair, I asked her about it and she told me about heatless hair curlers. I looked on Amazon and found several products but picked this for the price, description, reviews etc. The product is easy to use and has all the items listed in the description but it would be great to have instructions. I had to watch YouTube videos but it would have been great to actually a link from the product to instructions. Otherwise it's great!

I put these in my hair while it was slightly damp just before going to bed. They stayed out all night long and when I took them out in the morning I had big bouncy curls. This was a good purchase.

It works ok but needs some touch ups to the front pieces in the morning with a hot iron. The flat top creates kinked curls on the face framing pieces of my hair. If your looking for something cheap this will work but I recommend going with something of higher quality.

This velvet heatless curler is so comfy to wear and gives beautiful, natural curls.

Pics are of first time use. After shower I added Mark Anthony Coconut and Shea curl cream (read it had good reviews - also first time use). Rolled my hair around each rod careful to not overlap the hair too much. Went to bed - Super comfortable to sleep in. Woke up and could feel it was still a little damp inside so I used a warm blow dryer on hair by loosening the hair away from the rod a little. Then, when I took the hair out of rods I would the hair up into its curl again to let it set 15 mins. Then I carefully separated curls. Really happy with the results. Next time I think I will dry my hair a little and see how that goes. Overall super easy - very little effort for what you get!!
