Lightweight meaning thin and not heavy. Warmer than expected.

This duvet is soft and lofty. It looks thick but is light and fluffy, so it's great for giving your bed that designer look inside a duvet cover. We both sleep hot, so this is still a bit warm for us to use all year long, but it's perfect for winter. The quality is what you would expect of a high end brand and it's a great deal for the price.

I never hardly ever right reviews so this is saying a lot. I absolutely love this duvet insert. It is so comfortable feeling and lightweight. If your looking for a fluffy duvet insert this is not it. It fits my duvet cover perfect and doesn't slide around like my feather insert did. It keeps my husband and I warm but has a cooling effect. I will be looking for a heavier one of these once winter comes. I have not washed it yet so I'm not sure how it will hold up. If your hesitate about buying it dont be. It was a good price and we'll worth it.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE 7.4.25 It's still as hot as ever here, and I am still using this as my duvet insert for the late spring and summer months. It's held up incredibly well, and I still find it comfortable and breathable. UPDATE 7.8.24: It's currently between 115-120 degrees here, and this duvet has been wonderful in this heat. Again, I still can't speak to the fabric quality if it was used on its own, but as a duvet insert, it's held up great! _____ Context: I live in the desert, and it gets ***so*** hot here. I have been using this for about two months now, and it's amazing as a duvet insert. I stay cool, and as someone who lives in the desert and sleeps warm naturally, this is a blessing. The quality is awesome. I can't really speak to the fabric because I use a duvet insert, but I highly recommend - especially for folks who live in warm climates.

I bought this specifically for my new duvet cover (also from bedsure) and tried getting the lightest, coolest one available because my husband and I get night sweats. This was very soft and comfortable and but way too warm for us even by itself. It did fluff up the duvet cover beautifully! But as soon as we got in bed we took the duvet right off! So this is officially a “winter” blanket. I have it stored with my linens for the summer. Good quality though! It washed well in my top load GE Profile. It is also quite plush for a lightweight comforter! Would recommend if that’s what you’re looking for!
