Unit died in 1 1/2 years 😝 *by J***S on September 7, 2017* I read an article on air fryers and bought this one because of the good reviews, lower price point and smaller footprint than the more well known Phillips. Didn't know where to start but found lots of recipes online. I've been using it a lot in the past few months and have been very happy with the results. Yes, it does great on pre-packaged fries and tater tots but so much more. Roasted veges are browned and tender when coated with a little olive oil. Tonite I cooked a whole chicken and it came out crispy and juicy. Can't be more than 4 lbs or it won't fit. This morning scrambled eggs in a ramekin and even toasted the bread. It's very versatile. Filet of fish is delicious. I think the temperature has to be increased by 10 or 20 degrees from the recipes that are for the Phillips. Easy to clean and keeps messiness to a minimum. We travel in an RV and have used it many nites instead of turning on the oven and heating up the whole unit. Meals made were for two people. Don't think it's suitable for a large family unless food is cooked in batches. A really nice utensil. Update June 2018: I still use this air fryer frequently. Am disappointed that the nonstick finish is flaking off. I have never used anything abrasive on it. Update Jan 2019: unit died.
