Yes these annoying little critters are as strong as ever and are still going strong, we’ve had great fun with this, awesome for the kids to have something they feel they are looking after. Pocket sized and great to take along anywhere. The hours of entertainment you can get from these little pets is nothing short of hilarious really, considering you become quite attached to them on their little life path and when they die a little part of you feels guilty. Anyhow, the same easy buttons that you soon get the hang of, great price. Good battery life. Don’t under or over feed them, make sure you clean up after them, and give veterinary treatment when they’re sick… and hey if it all goes wrong the reset button is easy to find (if you feed them enough before the kids get home - they’ll never know (hopefully) the beeping can get annoying. (You have been warned) but it’s great to relive your playground childhood fad. Daughter wanted one for her birthday - I remember having one in my youth so very nostalgic! However, I forgot how annoying the beeping is (you can mute it) and how consuming it is to keep the thing alive. I distinctively remember not understanding how the growth stages worked when I was younger and still do not! (this is why I knocked off one star - the product was a lovely design and cute but overstimulated me as a busy mother of two I could not keep track of it) & my child kept forgetting as well 😂
