Flawless Finish, No Flashback — Banana Powder Holy Grail 🍌✨
I didn’t expect to be this obsessed, but the Kimchi Chic Puff Puff Pass Setting Powder in shade 02 Banana is hands-down one of the BEST setting powders I’ve ever used. And I’ve tried them all. It gives me that soft-filter, blurred look without caking, creasing, or messing with my undertone. And let’s talk about that puff? Luxury-level fluff. 😍 💛 Why It Slays: 🍌 The Perfect Banana Tone: It’s not too yellow and not chalky—it’s that sweet spot banana tone that brightens under my eyes, balances uneven tone, and gives life to my face without making me look ghostly. 🌬️ Lightweight & Airbrushed: This powder is so fine and soft, it literally feels like nothing on the skin—but somehow sets everything. I use it to bake, to blur pores, and to smooth out that “midday melt” look. It never cakes, never separates, and keeps me matte without drying me out. 💖 Extra-Fluffy Powder Puff = A VIBE: That puff is next level. Extra fluffy and the perfect size for both baking under the eye and pressing powder into larger areas. I even wash and reuse it—it holds up great! 📸 Photo-Ready with No Flashback: I’ve worn this powder in natural light, car selfies, full glam with a ring light, AND outdoor family photos. No flashback. No weird cast. Just smooth, glowing, real-skin finish. ⏰ All-Day Wear: Lasted me through hours of errands, mom duty, and even a TikTok Live—with zero creasing in my smile lines or under my eyes. That’s the kind of magic I need in my routine. 🧁 Pro Tip: • Use the puff to press product into your skin (especially under eyes and T-zone) • Let it “bake” for a few minutes, then lightly dust away with a fluffy brush • For a blurred filter finish, press powder all over before setting spray Final Thought: If you’ve been looking for a setting powder that blurs, brightens, bakes and flatters your skin tone without caking—you found it. The Kimchi Chic Puff Puff Pass in Banana deserves ALL the hype. It’s giving luxury performance at a steal. 10/10 recommend.

My new go-to
This is honestly the best setting powder I’ve ever used. It blurs my pores and makes my skin look so smooth! It’s also long-lasting, so after wearing it all day, your makeup will still look good as new! I rate this product a 10/10, and would highly recommend to anyone considering buying it.

Finally a setting powder that works wonders and reduces shine!!!
I was pleasantly surprised with how well this worked out! It quickly became my favorite setting powder and It will be a staple in my routine. It helps control oil and shine very well even after all day wear. I no longer need to touch-up my makeup during the day or use oil blotting sheets. It doesn’t look chalky or powdery on your face and sets in well. The container is well made and great quality! I appreciate that it was filled to the top with the powder so you are definitely getting your moneys worth! I personally don’t use the puff it comes with, but it is super soft and doesn’t feel like cheap quality. 10/10!

I love this stuff. There are too many good things to say— read my review :)
I LOVE this stuff. I got the pink one and I have really cool undertones. I hold the puff in place, flip it over, and give it a lil shake. Then, while I have my face turned down (so it doesn’t get on my clothes) I blot it along my T-zone (forehead, nose, also below the nose, under the lips/chi), under my eyes, and along my jawline below my contour. I shake more onto the puff a few times as I go. I let it sit for a few minutes and take my big fluffy brush (Real Techniques? Is that a brand? It’s a super popular, inexpensive makeup brush that is actually pretty dang impressive!! Also from Amazon!) and I just kinda dust the brush all over and blend in all the little dots of pink (from the way it comes out onto the puff)… and voila! It’s beautiful, the fluff of the puff is absolutely devine, and it’s incredible how the pink shade compliments cool undertones so well. I top it all off with Tirtir setting spray (pink bottle) and I’m good to go for HOURS!!! I also have SUUUPER oily skin. I highly recommend this stuff. OMG AND THE PACKAGING IS PHENOMENAL!! 🤩🤩🤩🙌🙌🙌

Great setting powder!
I’ve been using this setting powder for a while now, and honestly, it’s pretty awesome. The packaging is super cute, which is always great. Most importantly, the powder itself is super lightweight and doesn’t feel cakey at all. It blends really well and gives this nice, smooth finish like, it blurs out pores and keeps everything looking fresh. I’ve got oily skin, and this stuff holds up pretty well throughout the day. I mean, I still get a bit shiny after hours, but nothing major. Plus, it doesn’t give that weird white cast in photos, which is such a relief. Only downside? It can be a little messy when you’re in a rush, but that’s kinda the case with most loose powders. Overall, it’s definitely become a staple in my makeup bag. Totally worth trying if you’re on the hunt for a good setting powder!

Not the best for daily wear. Not a translucent finish, either.
First, the packaging was really very pretty, and the over all presentation was on point. That being said, I really wanted this to be The One setting powder to rule them all, but, alas. Pretty standard results, but boutique price-point. My search for the perfect powder has been prompted by my poor luck in finding a concealer that can provide coverage that looks natural and lasts through a day living life to cover some hyperpigmentation left behind by cystic rosacea. No matter how much money I spend, it seems as though everything out there ends up looking like pancake makeup or rubs off after a few minutes, or some combination of those. This isn’t an extraordinarily finely milled powder, which I feel is an important feature of a translucent setting powder if you want a smooth, even finish, but this winds up looking cakey and dry even with moisturized and primed skin and a setting spray. It also has more of a slightly pearlescent white finish, so the white inevitably ends up getting into your skin’s tiniest creases and lines and brightening them up like fresh caulking. It does bake rather well, but I can only imagine it being worn in the event of a photo shoot with reflective lighting, or out at a club at night where heavy makeup that doesn’t look entirely natural in the light of day is appropriate. But I don’t hate the brand, it probably works just right for performance makeup,.

A powder I didn't know I needed
I tried this powder by chance, I had heard good things about it but couldn't remember exactly where. I came across it in search for a new pressed powder to mattify my skin and set my foundation. I am not used to using loose powders, I always thought they were more of a hassle. Man was I totally wrong. This powder is so easy to use, although I recommend waiting to get dressed until after application since loose powder can land on your top a bit during the application process, or wear something over your clothing. That is not a complaint, as it can happen anytime you apply loose powder. I lately would use Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting powder, but always would go looking to see what new products I could try since I was not happy dropping $50 on a compact every month. I don't mind spending extra on a really good product, but there were still things I didn't love about the forementioned setting powder. I have tried so many powders, M.A.C, Hourglass, It Cosmetics, Chanel, Laneige, Laura Mercier, Lancome, Bare Minerals, NYX, Covergirl, so so many and nothing has worked as beautifully as this. I have oily, acne prone skin and am in my early thirties so I do have some fine lines. These are my biggest concerns when looking at foundation and powders. In a powder I look for something that won't clog my pores but will settle into them without breaking me out and will look natural, not cakey. I don't like a very powdery finish that leaves a cast. I need something that feels lightweight while being able to mattify my skin and blur imperfections. I use a medium coverage foundation that can be worked up to full coverage, so I do not need coverage when it comes to a powder, just a blurring effect that pulls the foundation and powder together beautifully. KimChi's Puff Puff Pass Set Bake Setting Powder really delivers, and hits every single one of my needs in a powder right on the head. I will never stop using it unless they discontinue it (which I pray they don't). I don't bake my face, after doing my eye make up and eyebrows I apply my foundation with my fingers which is my favorite way, I apply setting spray, after the spray dries for a couple of minutes I use a soft velour triangle powder puff to apply this loose powder. I move onto my blush, bronzer, highlighter and do my lips last. Then, I lightly reapply my setting spray and gently reapply a small amount of powder in the areas that get the oiliest (t zone, chin, cheek area nearest the sides of my nose). This is what works best for me although I would highly suggest the velour triangle powder puff for this product for everyone, you can find an inexpensive pack of 8 here on amazon. I will try to add photos later as I did not think about it, but my make up is done with this powder in my main profile photo if it helps. Apologies about the poor lighting, it is unedited so it's not the best photo. I do try to leave reviews on products I love and use often, or on products that I want to save people time and money on buying. I hope this helps anyone looking for a great setting powder that struggles with the same issues I do, give it a try! For the price it is totally worth trying, this container usually lasts me a couple of months sometimes even 3 depending on how often I wear a full face of makeup. You don't need a lot either and it is a great size.
