This tool makes it very easy to keep my poodles' ears hair-free. The quality is very good and durable.If I could change anything, I would make the grips a bit thicker so it's easier on the hands, make the tips a bit duller to prevent poking inside the dog's ear, and shorten it so you have a bit more control over what you're doing. But it has good grip and works well. I would reorder if it ever failed but I don't think it will.

I never knew this was a thing! Pulling the hair out of my dogs ears lol. He was scratching at his ears all the time. I looked in them and couldn’t see anything wrong with his ears. I washed his ears out and put drops in there and massaged them. Still scratching. Did a little research and watched some videos. I asked his groomer to do it and somehow she forgot. I ordered these and watched some more videos. When they arrived I was impressed with the weight of them and they have a full row of little teeth on both sides. They lock to grip the hairs too. He wasn’t a fan but he didn’t yelp when I did it. Now he doesn’t scratch his ears at all! If you have a doodle mix check inside their ears for hair if they are scratching.

I purchased this item for grooming pets. It’s pretty good stuff, it can hold the dog ear hair and it won’t break easily.
