Dr. Brown'sInsta-Feed Baby Bottle Warmer and Sterilizer for Baby Bottles and Baby Food Jars

We have the momcozy bottle warmer. After many tries heating a bottle, the momcozy was always overheating our bottles no matter what. We would wait the 5 minutes for it to heat up only to have to wait even longer for it to cool down. Not fun with a crying infant. We got this warmer the next day and it has made everything much easier. It’s a simple warmer. Just put in the right amount of water with the small measuring cup that attaches to the back of the warmer and press the button. Once the light on the button turns off, the bottle is ready. I do find sometimes the bottle is still a little cold but have discovered that waiting an additional 2-3 minutes after the light turns off has made the bottle perfect temp. Not too hot but not too cold. Also swirling the bottle a few times while heating helps warm it up better. For reference I am heating breast milk bottles taken from the fridge that were prepared the night before so they are pretty cold.

This product is super quick at heating bottles and only has one button- very simple.My baby is exclusively bottle fed so we do get quite a bit of use out of this bottle warmer. I love that it is so simple. You just measure a small amount of PURIFIED water in the bottom and press the button and it is done in about a minute or so. It must be purified water or else you will get buildup in the machine and it will be disgusting and not work correctly.Now I will say, whoever made this did not try to use it with a crying baby in tow. It is almost impossible to pour the water in the measuring cup while holding a baby and even harder if that baby is moving and upset. The little measuring cup cannot be set on the counter or anything, it is rounded on the bottom so you must be holding the bottle of PURIFIED water and the cup, one in each hand.You do need to use some trial and error with the amount of PURIFIED water you use, for us the numbers in the chart made the bottle too hot. It also gets too hot if you forget about it and leave the bottle in the machine for longer than you meant to when the cycle is up.Oh and did I mention you must use purified water!

This is honestly a great bottle warmer and sterilizer. It heats up instantly and warms a room temp 8 oz bottle of formula in less than 2 mins. For formula in the fridge maybe 3 mins. And you have to monitor the milk because it will become scalding hot before you know and you spend more time waiting for it to cool down. No testing the temp and taking the bottle out, is painful. The steam when warming the milk is so hot that you burn your poor digits. The warmer does come with a handled tray thingy but it doesn't fit all bottles. I am too lazy to be using one bottle and transfer to another. Plus the additional dishes, yeah I'm good. So, I burn myself each time. Hahahaha

I cannot for the life of me understand the overwhelming majority of reviews that gloss over how dangerous and wildly ineffective this product is. I purchased it to use with the wide Dr Browns 5 oz glass bottles hoping to warm premade formula and breast milk stored in the fridge a little faster than a hot water bath. On first opening I was surprised to find instructions that detailed heating times only for a narrow range of liquid amounts and bottle sizes. Note this product seems like it will not fit a bottle larger than 5 oz. If you’re in the newborn phase where your baby is cluster feeding in smaller amounts than the full bottle you will be playing a game of chicken as you try and find the correct amount of water to add to the steam reservoir to not end up with a scalding liquid. Most times the bottle will still be painfully hot to remove even with the basket included as the handle is short and fits very close to the bottle for the wide sizes. The insert for the basket also requires some more potential for burning as you have to apply significant force to put the bottle into the basket and pull to remove the bottle as well. While you’re fumbling around trying to make this work you will notice that the small insert for measuring water does not rest flat on any surface and is set into the body of the device such that you end up spilling a fair amount of water. This is annoying because it depletes the distilled water you likely use to make your bottles and sterilization work and adds clean up time. You will likely end up using an alternative measurement method as small differences (I.e. 2mL) in the water level will result in substantial temperature increases.While this device can heat your bottles to warm very quickly you will end up having to wait half the time for the bottle to cool from molten lava temperatures to grab the bottle. In the end you might try to brute force this to work for you, often times burning yourself just to end up waiting to cool a bottle twice the time it takes to heat up water in a microwave and dunk a bottle in it to heat. If you’re like me you’re more likely to let it sit in a corner gathering dust and look for an alternative that doesn’t involve burning yourself or wasting your precious time.

We got this for our newborn baby (01/05/2025) and is has been an awesome little gadget to get my boy's bottles warm. I would recommend this product to any new parents, you won't regret it at all. I like that this bottle warmer comes with accessories for smaller bottles and baby for jars as well. The icing on the cake is how we can sterilize the smaller parts in this warmer as well. This bottle warmer is really easy to use and is built of quality materials, your baby will absolutely love this, I guarantee it!

Bottles heat up rather quickly but this product could have gotten a 5 stars if it had a temperature/ timer gauge. There is no on and off function so you have to plug and unplug after every use not knowing whether milk is scalding hot or still cold. I have to keep my baby far away when operating this thing due to burning my fingers getting the bottle out and that lift thing doesn’t work for the steam. It’s easy to use for sure but a little too basic.

It works great. Only thing I miss is the timer in it. If I leave it for more than a minute, milk really gets heat up.
