has a real kick
My car had a superficial white scrape that I was pretty sure I could buff away. This tool did the trick, but there were a few minor issues that made it challenging. First, it took me a while to get the plastic handle mounted. The screws didn't fit into the holes well, and I had to apply a lot of pressure with the tightening tool (not an allen wrench or screwdriver, not sure what to call it) that was included for this purpose. It was a bit of a struggle. The excess plastic in the holes had to be pushed through. I used the orange foam head to attack the scrape, and it did remove it. I then used the fluffy finishing head to shine the area. The final result is one I am very satisfied with. Now the one thing that was difficult with this process is that the polisher has a very heavy kick to it. I am a fairly strong woman, but I had trouble controlling the machine. It sort of popped around like a bucking bronco! It's interesting, as I didn't expect it based on the weight of the device. It is not heavy, though it is not very light either. I have used various sanders to refinish furniture and I expected this to have a similar feel, but it did not.

Kinda heavy
Works good but very heavy and a little hard to use for very long without your arms getting tired.

Good value for the set and its features
This is a good value for the set, the capabilities, features and buffer/waxing functions based on the seller's description. I have not used it yet and will update my review after its use.

Better buffing and cleaning
This is a really excellent value for anyone looking to take care of their car better or more effectively. I've use this for buffing and washing recently. It really does make a difference and you don't have to work as hard. My only complaint is I wish it was cordless

Not Bad, Really Makes Polishing Furniture and Brass Pieces Easier.
AMAZON VINE DISCLAIMER ***Please note, this is a Vine Review and as such I will update my reviews at a later time should a product fail prematurely, or for any other situation affecting the product. My receiving this product for free has no bearing on my review process, as I consider reviews an important and valuable tool towards warning others of potential money and time-wasting purchases.***––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––LOL, I do have to laugh as for what I needed this for, I hadn't realized it might be a bit of overkill. But at the time it was all that came to mind. You see, it is that time of the year again where spring-cleaning beckons, and the furniture is in dire need of waxing and polishing. As I have a lot of wooden antique furniture, I have taken to polishing them in the old way using wax, linseed oil, etc. There is no way on this green earth I am going to use anything made today, especially with silicon as part of the ingredients. That is just not good for this kind of furniture. That and silicon tends to attract dust more than anything else, which defeats the purpose. But what better way for furniture polish manufacturers to keep you buying more and more.In many respects, this polisher works quite well, better than anything I could do by hand. For the larger flat surfaces, it is fantastic, but it can be a bit cumbersome and awkward to uses for smaller, intricate areas. For that, I turn to my little dremel. There was a time when doing this by hand was not so troubling, but age sets in and Mr. Arty Ritis comes a knockin' at the door much too often.Another wonderful use I have for this is cleaning, de-tarnishing, and polishing brass. I have some very large brass pieces, parlor palm pots, urns, etc., and this has made that process so much easier. Again, with smaller objects, I use a dremel for the tight spots, but my life is so much easier using this. What would be great would be if I could find a way to just lie it on its side or something, so as to simply hold pieces up to the wheel as you would with a polishing wheel on a work bench, but at the moment I haven't quite given it enough thought as to how to do that. I am thinking that it requires some kind of means to clamp it in place. If and when I figure out a way to do that, I will edit this review to let anyone know how I did it and how it worked –– or not. :)As far as pricing goes, it is a lot less expensive than many of the well-known, expensive brand named polishers. Yet, for a no-name, the price is pretty much in line with all the other unknown Chinese brands. Although, I have seen quite a few at almost half the price, I have to wonder how well those are made. I have been burned much to many times in the past purchasing electronic anything, from many of these Chinese unknown brands. However, being this was offered through the Vine Reviewing Program, I thought it would be a good way to try one without worry of losing that kind of money should a machine fail. So far, so good. Its construction feels pretty good, it doesn't feel shoddy. All the visible parts (largely made of plastic), seem to fit well with one another, and nothing seems loose or misaligned –– yet. The thing is loud, at least much louder than anything I am used to. But what do I know, I'm just an old gnome, living alone and noise just isn't part of my groove. But it does sort of remind my of my blender, but with a lot more in the high-end frequency. But not so bad that I would consider it too much. Yet my neighbors most assuredly are now well aware that I am a neurotic cleaning fanatic and not ashamed to admit it. I believe floors should be clean enough o eat from, glass, counters, faucets, etc., should all gleam and reflect like the chrome like surfaces they are. And, dust, scraps of this or that, product wrappers, etc., all have their place, but not on tables, floors, sofas, beds, etc. That is what trash receptacles area for. And no one, absolutely no one, walks into my apartment without first removing their shoes. And if they cannot or will not do that, then I have a nice pair of slip-ons they can put on their shoes. I did not pay good money on area rugs just so slobs could drag in the horrors from the outside world on to them. They can do that all they want in their own cat boxes, but not in my home. That being said, if you are like me, and you like shiny surfaces to shine–– clean surfaces to be clean, then I do believe you too will like one of these things. It will most assuredly bring some of your old goodies back to life again!Psst. By the way, did you know that walking into your home without removing your shoes is the biggest contributor to dust, dirt, and unhappiness?
