WeiSen Jack Holder Tailgate Door Hinge Mount Bracket Kit Compatible with 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK

Decided to buy this just to save a few bucks compared to others in the market. Well it's true... you get what you pay for. I bought the "Amazon's Choice Hi-Lift Jack" and it did not fit in this holder. I had to drill bigger holes. As far as positive things about it, it's easy to install you dont really need the instructions (which by the way are trash). Material is alright hopefully it lasts. I didnt like the look without the plastic covers so all you need to do is drill some holes on the plastics and it will still do ots job. 3 stars.

After reading reviews I was concerned about fit but it fit my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL. Two pairs of bolts lengths provided with one pair of spacers. Longer pair of two fit fine. I have 33” tires and it left about a finger width gap between spare and clamp tightener. (You could easily cut down the clamp and get another 1.5”). Back window opens IFF tailgate fully open….about a finger width gap between Jack handle and Spare. Shown with HPDMC 48" Ratcheting Off Road Utility Farm Jack which fit No Problem (Did have to ratchet it up or or two notches to make room for bottom clamp)Update : Did have to buy/find some new rubber dampener to hold Jack in place. Provided dampeners were not thick enough to tightly clamp Jack in without rattle. Rattle wasn’t terrible with provided dampeners….just bothersome enough to warrant my fixing it

A couple of comments,The lift carrier is not 100 percent to size for Hi-Lift Jack, you can force the fit and bend the flanges after install. this helps lock the unit in place.When your hardtop is on jeep you do not get complete clearance when the glass hatch is opened. You need to add a larger spacer between the carrier and the rear hinge. this also means you need new bolts.The last one i had last 2 seasons. that was most likely from multiply hits the high-lift had when entering parking garage structures that where mis-marked and a bunch of low hanging tree on the trail.In general the carrier is a good unit for the price.

Wish the metal gauge was a bit thicker and the welds a little more cleaner, but for what I paid an excellent deal. Considering most name brand brackets are at least $40-$50 more, this should do exactly what I want it to. And yes - it will fit a TJ, you just have to drill an extra hole as the hinges are a different width on the older Jeeps.

Good price. I actually used this on my 2020 JL. It did require the two mounting holes to be drilled in a different location, easily done. Securely holds the jack and I use the jack as a flag holder. TRUMP 2020!
