How long of an install is this 60" lightbar?

We are not installation professional, so we cannot provide the estimated time. It is very simply and easy to install.

Can this light bar run only amber light?

Yes, if you use controller to turn off two take down lights and two cargo lights, the rest of the LEDs are amber. Another option is you can replace the white color take down/cargo lights by amber LEDs, you can simply plug out and plug in to replace the LEDs.
