Easy set up and durable
Withstand moderate wind and I only need a step stool to secure the top with its built in small round magnets. I like that it came with two options to stabilize the tent. The poles are handy for gravel ground and it's secured despite not using the stakes (I used firewood as weight). The net keeps the bug out and the breeze in. At night, I used the cover and it has velcro to secure at the top that goes all the way down to the sides. It's made of opaque material (it didn't rain but it seems water resistant). Other campers told me it's a nice set-up. I fold it nicely after use to fit the compact storage bag it came with and it doesn't take much space in the car.

Worked well for my use.
This fit onto a Subaru Outback easily and makes for an easy camping setup. The only thing I don't like is the size of the bag as I am not sure how anyone would fit the tent and tarp back in the bag provided. After working with my gazebo bag which is oversized and no struggle, this is a disappointment. I did buy a larger bag.

Total camping game changer!
I love this thing! It was exactly what I wanted - no tent poles to deal with, it slings right over the liftgate of my 2019 Dodge Caravan (fits perfectly), hooks onto each of my rear tires in a hot second, then 4 little stakes if I so choose to use them and viola, I’m ready to camp! My bed is setup in the back of my Caravan when I’m solo and the tent is used as a screen room with my table and camp chairs in it. When my kids are with me I use the tent as an extra sleeping space when I put the rain fly on it and throw a queen air mattress in there. The rain fly is great as well and I experienced no leaks during light rain but I can’t say for sure about heavy rain since I haven’t experienced any yet in it. What I love best though is that, since my bed is setup in the back of my van, if I were to experience any threatening weather while solo camping I could simply close the liftgate with a push of a button and the tent would collapse without getting hung up inside part of my vehicle. The tent has light magnets along the sides of it to keep it against your car and keep bugs out. It also seems to hold up well in the breezes I have enjoyed while camping! One thing to be mindful of is that this type of tent relies on your vehicle for all of its structure. If you plan to venture out in your vehicle to explore, this tent will end up lying flat on the ground while you are gone unless you put decide to pack it away (but then run the risk of another camper maybe assuming your campsite is available). It’s not a big issue for me because it’s worth it just to not have to deal with tent poles but it may bother some people. What I do sometimes just to make my tent look a little “full” instead of flat on the ground when I need to detach my car from it is to leave my camp chair inside the tent with my chair umbrella opened.

Super easy to set up over my truck topper.
Great as a bug screen/extra egress & ventilation when not raining into my truck camper top. Super easy set up. Fits perfect with a few magnets to complete install (buy your own, not included). That's the great thing. Bad things are materials seem pretty flimsy & zipper feels cheap. I'm not optimistic about longevity. And storage bag sucks. What is it with camping manufacturers who vacuum seal their products and expect that everything will fit back in the bag after use (bag also super cheap material & zipper). I will buy my own storage bag. Note to Camp Toad peeps, charge a little more for quality zipper and quality (larger) bag. If you did that, I would give you 5 stars across the board.++Updated 3/30/2023++ Because of outstanding and unparalleled customer service, changing my rating from a 4 to 5. They sent replacement tent poles that are shorter in length that fit perfectly. Makes all the difference in taking the slack out of the netting. Airflow through the netting rendered 25 mph winds meaningless & I was able to keep everything set up & secured. For any of you pick-up truck/topper campers note that this works for my Toyota Tacoma. Also, use pavers or bricks to on the inside to secure the 4 corners if your camp site ends up being paved & tent stakes aren't an option. Have used on a few trips now & zippers holding up well. I still use my own storage bag & have not used the rain fly.

Great idea BUT
I am an avid hiker/outdoorsy person and have gone through number of camping products; needless to say this was my first hatchback/tailgating version of a shelter so I have nothing to really compare it to other than perhaps a regular tent. The impression I came away with: 1) I really think the concept, the idea is wonderful, no poles, easy to use, having privacy and space to stand up to change clothes and just more space while using the car to camp and sleep in. 2) The color is really nice. 3) The reason I gave it only 3 stars is due to the craftsmanship and the actual usability in wind & rain. I was disappointed checking the seams, stitching, velcro, zippers. Some areas of the velcro aren’t sewn to the tent fabric as it looks like the sewing machine went sideways and missed the alignment with fabric. At some areas the tent material is sewn over one side of the velcro so it cannot fully stick to the other side of the velcro. The loops and the ends of the zippers are poorly sewn. Now I tested this camping during the weekend (with Subaru Outback 2020) and this product did not hold up in the wind and rain. The inner tent has only small magnets to ‘attach/secure’ it to the roof/hatchback. Once I staked the tent floor, the blowing wind kept pulling it down until it blew off the hatchback. There are no straps, guy-lines to secure it to the roof, only those on the bottom that attach to the wheels. With no wind this may not be an issue, but we had a storm coming and I was anxious that all my stuff in the trunk would get soaking wet if this would blew off so I ended up taking it down to close the trunk. The inner tent has also two guy-lines to expand the space, but once I staked them down, I could not pull the rainfly over it, they were in the way of the rainfly and the rainfly would not reach the ground. Since there are no attachments other than magnets to secure the top to the roof, when I pulled the front trying to get the rainfly to the ground nice and tight, it kept sliding from the hatchback taking the inner tent with it since it is attached to it via Velcro. When it started raining the water got inside of the tent. The water just flows around the open trunk as usual (as there is not enough fabric to cover the car roof a little bit more), but the raised floor of the tent would not stay high enough/over the rear bumper for the water to run behind it, it just ran right over it inside the tent.To attach the rainfly to the inner tent via Velcro is also a pain if the tent is already in place.I would love to support them and this idea but sadly the quality of the manufacturing does not reflect the price, and the inability to make it work in the weather conditions I was at, for the money it has too many issues to try to figure it out. I returned the item, hoping that with time this product will get few upgrades.
