Just made its first new leaf
I had a red crown of thorns for 30 years so I know how to take care of one. Not everyone will. I finally had to do too much pruning online because they get very long and leggy. If you can just do one of those maybe once a year it's okay, but I think it was not doing well this last year anyway and I had to do extra and that killed it. And then I saw that there were yellow ones and that's really my favorite flower color so I have my fingers crossed that I can get mine to bloom sometime this year. Once you get them to bloom they stay blooming almost all year if you fertilize them right. I'm using working fertilizer with every watering. And they like to get very dry. They bloom better if they are kept dry most of the time. I only water and fertilize once a month. Pot in cactus mix.

Not what I ordered
The product photos show nice size cuttings with roots. I received what appears to be a branch broken off of a plant with no roots. I planted it but have no hopes it will grow. Not a great value for the price.
