Used Daily since purchasing
Folks these are well worth the money. Hubby and I are eating healthier and most cooking is done in cast iron . Our old silicone - disgusting melting utensils just not cutting it anymore! We use these exclusively now and couldn't be happier . They look beautiful countertops as well

Sturdy, attractive
They’re so nice I almost hate to use them. Working at getting away from plastic utensils while having tools that won’t scratch up cookwear. Easy to clean, sturdy. I’ll be ordering more.

Nice wooden utensil set
Overall this is a nice set of wooden utensils. I don't care for silicone or plastic and enjoy using wooden utensils even though they require a little special attention (hand wash, occasional oiling). Their container is particularly beautiful. There were some minor flaws (see photos)- a crack through one of them and some drippy buildup of whatever clear coating was used to seal the wood, along the ends. The ladle is gorgeous but shallow. The materials are great and this utensil set is very nice, just a few quibbles taking it down from a 5 star rating for me, but my problems may not be yours.Check the measurements, I knew they were going to have some short handles and don't mind that, but it seems like people often complain about the size of something when the dimensions are clearly listed so perhaps a helpful reminder.

Surprisingly beautiful! Even prettier than the picture. Well finished and unusual shapes.
The media could not be loaded. I don't use metal anymore, so I have a drawer full of various wooden utensils, ranging from Cost Plus stuff to inherited from my mother. I like these very much. They are thicker than most of what I own and better finished. The wood is very smooth, does not give the impression it will splinter, and has a good feel in the hand. They are VERY attractive, somewhat heavy, and fit well in their container. The pictures show the strings separately, but mine came with them already attached. But I like best their shapes. Again, I've got lots of wooden utensils, but I don't have any that are shaped like these. They look to be designed specifically for wok cooking, with their curve and extra long usable surface. I really like the pair of "paddles." I will absolutely use those together! The strainer is functional and useful, although a little small, and the spaghetti server, as they call it, is certainly an unusual shape. I don't think I've seen one that flat. I think I'm probably going to end up using it more for vegetables like broccoli in the wok, but I imagine it would work as a pasta drainer. I like the soup sized ladle. That's going to be good for putting on the table with a hot pot. It did not come with any care instructions, so be sure to look at the Amazon ad. They don't directly say it is not dishwasher safe, but they tell you to clean it with soap and water gently, which means it's not dishwasher safe. I know I put my other wooden utensils in the dishwasher, but this one might lose its color pretty readily. I'll leave that decision up to you. I think I'll probably keep them out of the dishwasher. And I'm not going to hold a match up to it to see if it's "safe to 457°"! I think I'll take their word for it. It seems to work fine in a hot wok, although in fairness I don't do the sort of cooking that requires heating oil very very hot. If you do, you might have to watch your temperature. But they are very pretty and very useful.
