Good overall
The media could not be loaded. The rotisserie is excellent but the actual bbq could be better. Could do with a drip tray but I think it’s actually designed to slide a disposable bbq in the bottom. Decent enough to take on the road

Portable yes, but not great
Bought for camping trip to France. The flat pack format is great design but the unit is not a great BBQ. Filled with charcoal, the hot plate area never got really hot enough. The area with holes was OK for cooking but I was not impressed with it at all. It takes ages to cook burgers or sausages. At one point reverted to a gas BBQ that we also had brought along. I did think of filling it higher with charcoal but was not confident the tray and open sides would keep it within the unit.Didn't use it with one of the disposable. BBQ so can't comment on that but I would feel that those would have even less heat than filling with charcoal.Cleaning it out after use is a bit of a faff before being able to fold it away. The tray which holds the charcoal is very shallow and the ash and even lit charcoal tend to fall out onto the table during use due to open areas at each end. The grease from the food also dripped down the sides and onto the table, so much so I had to place a plate below to catch it.So I would probably not take it away again and will stick with the portable gas BBQ. Probably a waste of money in the end.

Worked better than expected.
We were looking for a camping bbq to replace our old folding one and came across this. It looked very similar with the added bonus of the rotisserie. I didn’t hold much hope of the rotisserie working very well but learning a couple of important lessons (slightly raise the legs on the opposite side to the battery pack or it has a tendency to fall out and use the hooked end of the skewers to move the spit over the coals) it has become our favourite camping gadget. It didn’t come with a traditional bbq grill so I bought a couple of baking cooling racks which fit perfectly and it now covers our every cooking need.
