I was hesitant on using it after reading reviews. But I decided to give it a try. I have 4A-B hair and use a texturizer about 3 times a year. The relaxer seems to give me dandruff. I'm taking that sticky patches on my scalp. I used the scrub before shampooing and when I shampooed I used a scrub brush. This removed all the patches from my scalp! Yes, even after I washed and conditioned I still saw some flakes in my hair. It was not product but the flakes. Give it a try. My scalp feels better. I will try about every 2 weeks and give an update.

I've only used it once i like the feel of it it's very salty and it does make your hair dry i had to call the company to make sure i'm doing it right so they answered me and i'm very happy with them responding to me i've only used it one time so i can't say exactly how i feel but i think it's working pretty good to get the gunk out of yourself

My scalp gets abnormally sore and the only relief I can find is if I tug at it by the root, so I thought maybe an exfoliating scrub would help. It smells AMAZING! It was a little difficult to get it all on the scalp, but after a few minutes, I found the groove. It did clump together, but in my opinion it made it easier to navigate where to scrub. After scrubbing for a few minutes, I could immediately feel relief of pressure. I rinsed it and then [heavily] shampooed and conditioned as normal. My hair did feel a little dry, but after adding my normal product, oil, etc, it was fine. This morning, my hair feels fine and my scalp has NO pressure or product build up. I am definitely opened to trying a different scrub, but for now, this one was nice!

My hair is thinning due to having lovely Covid 3 times. I tried this product by itself as directed, but it seriously entangled my hair. Took forever to get it combed out after showering, which is not something I need for my hair right now. It might work for straight hair much better than my semi-curly dry hair.

This product is horrible! Yes it smells great but the mess it makes and the sticky texture was very off putting. I could hardley get it into my hair without huge clumps of the product fall off my head and hitting the floor. By the time i was done I had more product on the floor then on my head. Deffanetly not worth the time and effort to get it into my hair for the results. It completely dried out my curly hair and made it a frizzy mess for 3 days. Not even deep conditioner helped the damage this product did to my hair. Ill stick with my Nioxin scalp scrub i always get.
