Great for Outside Use
Purchased this for use on our outdoor deck. Previous trashcan allowed water in and was a mess. This has worked perfectly and we are very pleased with it.

Nice can for small spaces. Attractive and functional.
The lid is hard to attach, but if you use the edge of a slot screwdriver to press where the connection is made, you can wedge it just enough to slip the pieces together. Two little bars on the lid are supposed to fit into two U-shaped recessed in the can. Someone else wrote that forceful pressure would snap them together, but no matter how hard I tried, or what I hit it with, it would not go. It really seemed as if the recesses were just too narrow for the bars. I used the screwdriver like a shoe horn, widening the recesses just enough to slip the bars in. Once attached, the lid worked perfectly. Nice can.

OKay
Foot petal and lid opening mechanism could be sturdier. Nice looking with good seal, but I will use this only for light recycling, as I'm not sure it would handle a heavy load.

Perfect laundry room waste basket
Needed something sizable, covered, discreet, and narrow enough to fit into my tiny laundry room between the dryer and the wall. This fit the bill perfectly. My only disappointment is that with repeated stepping on the lid release to throw away dryer lint, the wastebasket gets pushed back toward the back wall of my laundry room, and I have to keep pulling it back out so I can use the step-lid function again. Thinking of putting a brick or something into the bottom of it to make it less likely to move when I use it, if I can do it in a way that won't interfere with the lid operation. Otherwise a great solution.
