Highly recommend
I purchased two of the 5lb version here and two of 10 pounders from another brand because Amazon can't seem to keep these in stockAnyway... the fit, construction, and coating are all very nice. I use these mainly for grip exercises. Don't be fooled by the light weight because if you use them correctly they don't need to be very heavy. i just moved up to the 10lbs clubs and I can tell you that my grip/forearm strength has increased tremendously. I used to think these were a gimmick but now I highly recommend these to anyone doing any kind of MMA, combat, boxing, or even baseball and golf.

like it, appears to be machined steel
got the 5 pound one, like it, appears to be machined steel, nice, and paint isn't smooth like gloss paint like on my kettlebells, which is a plus, its like flat black and i like that, gives a little bit of grip, just ordered a 10, which will be here tomorrow, thanks

Solid Product
I had the same problem as another customer: identical serial numbers, identical names on the boxes, but one 10-lb club is 16” with no ‘Apollo’ label, while the other is 17” with the label. They’re also shaped differently. Customer Service immediately sent me two more with directions to the fulfillment center to ensure they send another 17” club.Amazon resolved the issue within 24 hours.I have been using a 5-lb pair of Apollo clubs for a year now. For shoulder stability, strengthening my throw and conditioning for martial arts and stage sword work, they’ve been part of my daily practice. I definateky recommend, as long as they send you two of the same length and shape.

Great product
This product came as described. There are no sharp or rough edges on the Indian clubs, so I can use them bare handed with no issues. I’ve banged them a few times on accident and haven’t noticed any chipping or rust so overall I think it’s a great product. I started out with the 5 lb and this was my first time using these. I’m going up in weight but for those like me 5 lb are great to start out with and a great way to rehab a shoulder injury too

Inconsistent Quality Control
So, I purchased these initially to work on some of the more complex movements involved with Indian Club / Steel Club / Clubbell workouts. I ordered these two at the same time and I got two entirely different clubs. Check out the pictures when you get the chance, I’ll be referring to them a bit for this review;- You may be wondering what the difference is but check it out, one has a rubber stopper and the other doesn’t, hilariously enough. Now it may not be a big deal to some, but as a lot of you know, a rubber stopper can make a HUGE difference in an extended workout. Friction from a rubber stopper can make a workout much easier as you’re relying on friction more so than your own grip. Using one with and without makes a noticeable difference from my experience, and it can lead to some inconsistencies in muscle growth / development down the road.Center of Gravity; take a look at the weighted end of the club. Both are shaped a little differently as well, which again makes a noticeable difference when swinging these around.- Quality control, not sure what happened with the casting, but the club with the rubber stopper has a TON of etchings and divots whereas the other one is virtually perfect. Not a huge deal but it is something worth noting. Yes, I understand these are weights and they ARE going to be tossed around as designed. FYI: Since the clubs are black, it was hard to get decent pictures of the divots/etchings.Conclusion? They’re fine, they get the job done, and they feel solid. Maybe you’re better off getting singles and not pairs? Ultimately, at low weights these differences won’t be quite as noticeable until you’re using clubs that are on the heavier end of things AND they’re fairly priced, so beggars can’t be choosers. At the end of the day, do what you can to stay moving. Have a good workout!

Compact for such heavy equipment
All of us who lift weights at home need equipment to be economical in terms of space. These clubs are very compact in spite of their significant weight. I have no complaints about them at all. Any complaints are about me. At the age of 68, wielding a pair of 15 pounders is not easy. I can't swing them around but I can bring them from my back to the front of my chest. Karl Gotch, the great 20th Century pro wrestler with legitimate skills, used to use club and mace swinging in his training and in his training of Japanese wrestlers.

Functional fitness necessity. Love it!
Well cast! Value is unbeatable. I found some others through fitness websites almost 30% more expensive. Unintended benefit: the core work involved with swinging the club unilaterally.

I'm in love!
Wow!!! I've tried Indian Clubs here and there but these got it right... just painted iron! Yay!!! I have the 5lbs and they are taking a bit to get used to but delivers a nice balance between tendon springiness and muscular strength. I'm inspired by Farmer Burns, Tom Brady, and Christopher McDougall's emphasis on tendon training.
