What are the bows made of? Any metal on them?

To be honest I returned the magnifiers because they came scratched and broken and missing the cloth case and the microfiber cloth.

Is it difficult to focus with these on? Do you have to move the glasses closer or farther from your face?

I've had no problem focusing when wearing these magnifying glasses. I simply wear them as I would any regular eye glasses to read small print or perform close up tasks. But, when I need to see things that are farther away, I slide the glasses down lower on my nose and look over them.

Is this the same as getting 6+ reading glasses? If not can you tell me what it is comparable to?

I wear reading glasses with 2.75 lenses. When I use the +160 magnifying lenses, I remove my reading glasses. It feels like things are magnified by at least 4 to 5 times greater than my reading glasses. Definitely helps me with very small detailed work. I work with miniatures of all kind and this definitely helps, but don’t walk around with these glasses on your eyes. It’s like walking around with a big magnifier in front of your eyes. They don’t function very will as reading glasses. Think of them as magnifiers that free up your hands.

No they are just like reading glasses I got them for doing lashes and I still can't see only if get closer so didn't help me.
