Tastes and bakes like sugar, no aftertaste, zero glycemic, no digestive issues bc of its source
To me, this is the BEST sugar replacement product available. There is ZERO aftertaste, the texture (granules) is almost exactly like sugar, melts like regular sugar, and it’s a functional 1:1 match to cane sugar, tastes almost exactly the same as cane sugar, and is zero glycemic with zero calories. I don’t need to add monkfruit or other sugar substitutes to it to make it taste better (as what is necessary for other non sugar sweeteners). I’ve this product for several years. Made cookies, popsicles, etc with it. I’ve also purchased their powdered sugar which is also excellent. This cane sugar replacement lasts a long time (similar to can sugar that way). My digestive system usually has a problem with many sugar alcohols, but not with this product. That’s probably because the source of this product is a Japanese squash. Other xylitol products made from birch or corn, bother my GI tract a lot, which is one of the many and main reasons I continue to use this product. It’s not cheap, but if you can afford it, do it. You won’t regret it.

Excellent
Tastes exactly like sugar, no aftertaste. Best "natural" substitute I have found. I've used it for a few years without any issues. Although it is expensive, it is worth it.

NO AFTER TASTE
I was skeptical to purchase this, because everything I have tried has an after taste. I have to say this BochaSweet is NO JOKE! NO after taste, NONE. It is the closest to sugar I have tasted. However, I do not believe it is as sweet as sugar. I add a teaspoon to my herbal tea, as I would if I was using real sugar, I found I had to add two to get the same sweetness. Regardless of the amount, BochaSweet, tastes like real sugar, looks like real sugar, and almost feels like real sugar, it has more dampness to it. Absolutely delicious tasting. I am not pre-diabetic, but I do monitor my blood sugar based on foods I eat to ensure I don't become pre-diabetic. I tested my blood sugar before, half hour interval, and one hour, there was no spike. I also read that it was minimally processed, that is a plus. Great alternative to sugar, and high fructose corn syrup for the health conscience, and a fantastic alternative to aspartame, stevia, and other tongue curling, bitter, after tasting substitutes for those who can not eat sugar. I hope in a few years they don't say it is not good for you like they did with agave, another one of my favorites. Two thumbs up for BochaSweet, the only down side is that it is so pricey. They should come out with trial size packets so everyone can give it a try before buying the bigger bag. I bought two from the start and I do not regret it. Plan on baking with it using almond and coconut flours and plan on making my own lemon lime soda with it, the recipes are endless. Thanks BochaSweet!!!!

Close to sugar but not quite there.
I've tried just about all of the sugar substitutes and most of them have an off flavor or bad aftertaste. After all the positive reviews of BochaSweet and doing some research on the product I decided to give it a try even though it was pretty expensive. I've got to say that it is the closest I've come to sugar but unlike some of the other reviewers I still get an aftertaste and slight cooling effect like with xylitol. The comparison that comes closest for me is the sweet flavor you get when you first chew a stick of gum. Nice and sweet but leaves an aftertaste that you know is not real sugar. I only use it for coffee and tea so can't comment on what it tastes like in baked items where it may shine. Looks like sugar is the only alternative to sugar until something revolutionary comes around.

Game Changer! My baked goods are so beautiful!
So we are old pros with low carb and keto. I've tried all the alternative sugars. This sugar alternative is more expensive than I prefer, but after this Thanksgiving holiday with all of my baking, the proof was in how everything turned out. If the cost was lower, I'd be even more happy, but I'm thrilled with the taste and how it performs in my recipes. I had tried allulose to bake with due to the no-cooling effect like erythritol, but it browned too much. This Bocha Sweet is as close to sugar with no aftertaste, no cooling and not one bit of heavy browning in my baking. I'm thrilled. We did not have any stomach upset that sometimes happens with new sugar alternatives. My pumpkin pie was a hit, no one knew it was Keto! Everyone wanted my recipe and were shocked that I used a sugar alternative. I love when I'm able to replicate the "old" way I used to cook and bake. I used it in my cranberry sauce and it was absolutely perfect too. NO ONE KNEW the difference!I was able to grind it into a confectionary type for some frostings too!Not gritty or grainy. It does have a little larger grain than sugar but it melts easily in tea and coffee.I have found my "sugar" and I couldn't be happier! Please find a way to make it lower cost and it would be a perfect 10.

By far the best sweetner, it is pricey.
Love this, it acts like sugar when cooking and doesn't have after taste. It is quite expensive so I often mix with monkfruit.

The ONLY sweetener I like
I’m diabetic and can’t have carbs and sugar. I HATE the artificial taste of diet sweeteners. This is the ONLY one I’ve ever liked. Plus it’s a one to one exchange ratio so works good in recipes. I believe it’s natural. There’s definitely no chemical taste. I’ve even made a simple syrup from it.
