Daily Hydration Shampoo Virgin Coconut Oil for All Hair Types Sulfate-Free 13 oz

I took a chance and ordered this SheaMoisture daily hydration shampoo when I saw the very affordable price of less than $3 for this bottle, and I'm very glad that I gave the shampoo a chance! It is very moisturizing and hydrating and left my hair smooth, silky and soft, so much so that I did not even need to use conditioner after using the shampoo. The shampoo provides a generous lather and rinses out cleanly and completely without leaving any residue behind. The shampoo would be especially great for those who use a blow dryer to dry their hair, especially in the winter which can be very drying. The shampoo can help keep hair from drying out and add moisture back in.

I truly can't find anything I dislike about this shampoo. I only wish I'd tried it a long time ago. When I was a teenager, I didn't think a lot about what was in, or not in, my shampoo. I know better now! This shampoo smells great. It has this fresh coconut smell that lasts for days. Yes, I was being lazy and didn't wash my hair for four (4) days but, crazy enough, my hair still smelled nice and it wasn't as dirty looking as would have if I'd used another shampoo. Yes, I was impressed. This shampoo does come with a conditioner and even a leave-in conditioner. I thought I'd bought the regular conditioner along with the leave-in but, I accidentally bought two shampoos instead of one shampoo and one conditioner. That was okay because I gave my daughter the second shampoo and still had the leave-in conditioner. What I ended up discovering was that even washing my hair in hard water, my hair was still silky soft and I didn't need the conditioner. My long hair, which tangles easily, was not as difficult to comb through like it was with previous shampoos I'd used. And, no frizz or static electricity that you can often get from not using conditioner. I live in Arizona and the weather can be drying to your hair if you don't condition it. I haven't had that problem and my hair feels great. No doubt it's the 100% virgin coconut oil in it. What's not in it is sulfates or parabens. So I know this is a quality shampoo. This is the only shampoo I'll buy now.

It lathers well making it easy to use and it keeps my hair in shape after Brazilian straightening.

Hairtype: fine, wavy Pros: +shiny +soft Cons: - 2 washes; first wash doesn't lather and leaves a residue, 2nd wash lathers, the residue is still there - hair falls flat like its weighed down - hair becomes oily faster; i can usually wait 2/3 days before washing my hair, with this product wash it every day - more shampoo used because of the double + more frequent washes Overall, I dont think this product is for all hair types and I will not be using it again. Rating 4 stars because it is a daily hydration, but I don't think this is meant for all hair types.

Hair smells lovely and feels light and clean

I have straight thick hair and I love this so much but I combine it with black silk (Indian product) shampoo too

Love that this does what it does without all of the dangerous chemicals. Leaves hair silky smooth and healthy feeling. Also has a nice scent. This is my new goto shampoo...

Cleans, but makes my hair feel heavy and dense, instead of soft and flowing.

Doesn’t clean my hair at all. Hair feels dirty and greaser. Think the coconut oil in the shampoo sticks to your hair and won’t wash out. Won’t be buying again
