NO SMELL
I was looking for a pistachio oil that I can add to perfumes so a pistachio oil that has a scent. This oil was literally just an oil and had no scent whatsoever.

No smell whats so ever!
Bad investment, smells nothing like pistachio or bluntly put it literally smells like nothing! Smells like a faint smelling watered down olive oil.

Slightly nutty oil
This is a carrier oil and all-natural, not an essential oil so it can be used directly on your skin or hair.It is a nice light oil that has a very subtle nutty aroma which will not obstruct any essential oil you want to mix with it.This oil is perfect as a carrier oil for body massages or just to apply to your skin after a bath to moisturise it.i also use mine on my hair as I have very dry frizzy hair.I apply a bit at night to the ends of my hair and only wash my hair at the most twice a week.I like the smell of this oil natural but do also like to add my choice of aromatherapy essential oils to suit my mood.

Excellent for dry hair
This is pricy for a small bottle so it's worth shopping around. That said, pistachio is an excellent oil for hair as it contains biotin, often used in hair supplements, as well as vitamin E, omega 3, 6 and 9. I have dry hair so can take it rubbed straight on, but it can also be added to conditioners and masks, or smoothed over wet hair after washing. I'd use a cheaper oil for scalp massage before washing. It can be used on the face as skin as well and is meant to be good for maturer skin but it's a bit too viscous for my combination skin.

Pistachio oil
This oil comes in a dark glass bottle that has a dropper lid in the box to put on if you wish. It is a 30ml bottle and it has a best before of 02/24. I have had a few items from Greenwood essential and generally find them to be good quality products. This particular pistachio oil is quite a dense, thick and nourishing oil. This is great for dry skin and it feels nice to use.

great cold pressed pistachio oil
I quite like this pistachio oil. It is extracted in a cold-pressed way. It is scentless, a good quality carrier oil for scar treatment. Pistachio oil has a high concentration of vitamin E, a fat-soluble antioxidant that has many other properties besides the best one: fighting free radicals. It helps increase blood circulation and promote healing, pistachio oil helps to control acne, as well as to treat scars. Because vitamin E works to reduce inflammation, it helps minimize oil production, freeing up pores and preventing oil buildup. This helps to prevent acne.

Pleased to try a lesser known carrier, but remain less than enamoured of supplier
I am grateful for the chance to try a carrier not in my kit, but as ever, would not buy from this supplier as they are outrageous hikers of prices. Searching around I found this oil, more commonly found as a somewhat unusual cooking ingredient for the more sophisticated foodie, at a far more acceptable (though still high, in comparison to many other plant oils)Greenwood's perennial claim of their products being 'Therapy Grade' compounds my distrust as no such grading exists - its purely marketing spin. None of my specialist suppliers of essential oils and carriers, who are geared towards practitioners, ever employ this term, BECAUSE it is a meaningless one.Rant over (kind of) Yes, like most carriers, soothing and emollient on the skin, and certainly without negative actions. But I'm unlikely to start using this one as there are so many others more readily available from more trusted (by me) suppliers. Though I might experiment with this in the culinary sphere (from suppliers of fine grocery product) Where, certainly, if INGESTED something would have to have an even better quality than something described as 'Therapeutic Grade' for personal use - ie external application. I suspect though that they are all sourcing from the same or similar companies, and some just spin a bit.............
