Lol. **Q: What is the exact width of the gate where the 2 sides slide together? Need to fit between patio door and screen.** A: I’m not sure what exactly you mean. Where the two sides over lap is about 2.5 inches. The gate will open a total of 41.5 inches not counting the side bumpers that fit between door frames. **Q: What if you have a baseboard?? Is there anyway to adjust at the top to make up for the baseboard at the bottom?** A: There needs to be an extender offered for people with baseboards. If I set it up above my extra wide baseboards it’s difficult for me to step over it and my dog can get under it. **Q: Can the gate be set up fit at a slight angle? Very durable & easy to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great, interesting latch mechanism. *by E***A on April 27, 2024* This gate is pretty sturdy and does what it is supposed to do - keep our toddler from getting into the room with the cat litter. I did not use the included wall mounted brackets but it still works just fine with the rubber pieces already on the gate. I’m sure the wall mounts would give extra security but we have had zero issue with the gate staying put. The locking mechanism is different from others I’ve seen. You have to lift up a piece and unscrew a plastic cylinder in order to slide it over to unlock. Definitely takes longer than ones with a latch that just pulls out and up. So I didn’t care for that feature.
