Everything worked well, although my model was slightly different from the ones listed for the kit. I was going to cancel the order and contacted the folks at BadAss Pool Supply. They told me that it had already been shipped, but that I could just endorse the package as refused and they would refund the purchase price. When it came, I decided to just go ahead and try it anyway. The price was around $12USD, and I've lost more than that in the laundry. As it turns out, the part I needed the most, the pump seal bearing, although not exactly like the original on my pump, was pretty generic and worked fine. I would imagine that any Hayward Power-Flo LX SP1580 series (and some have SP158xxxxx designations) would be applicable, One proviso is that I didn't replace any of the gaskets, so I can't vouch for them. All I know is that I needed a pump seal bearing and my local pool supply company wanted $40USD, and I got this whole kit, pump seal bearing and all for $12USD. Waited to write review as I seen mixed reviews.I ran my pool 24/7 all summer after the rebuild and never had an issue. The pump was leaking like running hose before the rebuild.Even if I would have to do this twice during the pool season it would have been worth it.My guess is it will run flawlessly for the next 2-3 yrs without an issue.
