The Hillman Group 42041 Galvanized Roofing Nails, 1-Inch, 100 Count (Pack of 1)

The outdoor rug wore out on my back steps. The rug had been secured with screws. The screws had rusted and slipped below the top of the rug. After struggling for a couple of days to find the screws thru the rug pile, and removing them, I gave a lot of thought as to how I was going to fasten the new rug. The roofing nails were my solution. Large flat head, and they drove straight thru the rug pile and rubber backing. If you've ever tried to put a screw into a rug you'll remember how the turning bit gets the rug pile wound around the drill bit. These galvanized nails shouldn't rust, and when this rug wears out, the flat head nail will be easy to get a hammer head under for removal.

They are strong and awesome. Used them to hammer down rugs that kept moving. Didn't bent head were strong too.

Durable, great quality, priced right, perfect flat top for the hammer to hit, nails go in easy, and are visible enough to not miss and hit your finger. Good quality, package is re-sealable. I’ve never been so excited to receive nails before! Thank you to the seller!!

When shipped. Feels like some king of oil was spilled in the box over the plastic container. It got all over my hands and table. Product is good but had to clean up the mess.

Well made. Easy to install

Solid, no weakness in the installation where the metal bends/breaks or anything. They’re thicker than a standard picture nail, so they’re stronger. I had a heavy mirror hanging from one of these things and when I recently moved, the structural integrity was just as good as the day I put it up.

You hammer it and it goes in. 🤷‍♀️
