I Wanted to love this, I wanted to love it a lot!
I’ve been buying PC Speakers from years before the Legendary Logitech ZX5500. I know sound, but it’s a PC so I need a good all rounder that makes my set up good.I will reach in to the deep pockets of my long cordarois open up my wallet and fork out £100’s for good quality.I saw Razer, thought, hey these guys are like old Logitech before Logitech cheapened their quality and started producing good quality peripherals but no longer industry leading and smelt a bit like cheap designs and short cuts.A bit like Asrock to motherboards. I’m sure the CEO sat down in 2018 and said, no to quality yea to margin. Anywho.. The reason I’m banging on about Logitech rather than Razer is because Razer does not make good speakers. The bottom version of this speaker looks amazing, sounds like it should come with Bush/Matsui/Sanyo and be sold for Chicken Nuggets not cash. The designers are amazing, the features incredible but the sound. The sound will have you trying to justify each pound you gave to Amazon. This one I bought to replace the lower model after 4 days. This is the upper model, and it has worked intermittently over 4 days then I disconnected it and it started to work again.Frustrating right… Anywho maybe the issue is with me right. Benefit of the doubt..The sounds ok, it’s a standard 3.5 out of 5. Just you have to play around for a few hours to get the software to make it sound good. Maybe I was too harsh and didn’t let the speaker burn in, maybe I’m spoilt by my Cyrus One.However for 500 pounds this should not only look fantastic, it should have the fantastic features like the Bluetooth remote on your phone and the colourful app around the base. but should sound better than a standard Logitech Z906.The Z906 if it was a Football club would be classed as premiership. While this would be still playing mid table footy in the Championship with QPR and Blackpool. Scoring own goals while wearing a snazzy kit.Buy it for looks, buy it for features, buy it for games, but if you wanna listen to music then you might as well go to your garden or park, should you live in a block of flats.Dig a big hole, maybe 50 x 60 Cm wide a meter deep would be enough. Skip along to Barclays or HSBC and withdraw £500 in coinage. Say thank you to the clerk for the inconvenience.Return to said hole then poor your entire swag bag of coins in to said hole. That is what it feels like buying this speaker set for £500 squids!!What needs to happen is, either the speaker engineers need to move to Razer or the Product designers from Razer need to go to Logitech. However, while we wait for capitalism to work it’s way through these two companies. if you want looks get the Razer if you want sound get the Logitech.Just don’t be me and get both!

Excellent sound quality
I bought these speakers for my son who like razor products- keyboards etc. The lighting is a nice touch and for gamers who like keyboards, keyboard mat and mouse lighting up is a nice addition and of course is programmable through the razor pc app.I had some trepidation about the speakers- they are expensive. However they are built well, have a nice feel of heaviness and the sound was surprisingly good.I’m sure they will last a good few years with the ability to double at a basic surround sound for tvs etc should gaming fall out of favour. The sound is better than sonos one and sl speakers and more on a Bose level. I couldn’t tell you how loud they are in terms of wattage- but in a gaming room you would not be able to have a conversation with them turned right up- no distortion- good high, mid range and outstanding base and adjustable equaliser through the pc app.Overall worth it if gaming, lighting and good sound quality is your thing.

Look great sound great most of the time. For gaming 100% satisfaction. Audiophiles stay away
RAZER NOMMOS 2.1 PRO These are gaming speakers. You will not be dissapointed. For music and tv watching they are still awesome but not really clear enough for me. MUsic sounds a bit muddy and bass way too heavy. If you want your house to shake when a game has a bomb sound then yay. But for music even with the bass on zero it is far too loud for evening listening. Bass is so powerful it shows how lacking the mid and high ends are. The graphics eqaliser does help a bit on custom settings but you still feel the music is missing something.cant put my finger on it. I have listened to many genres and i keep thinking this dont sound right. Formgami g it blows your mind. 100% nailed it there. Your nieghbours or peopel in house willnot li,e it. The baSs shakes the house. the cable should be far longer on bass sub as it can only fit on my desk. I wantit on floor but nlt under my desk. Not possible with the cable length. Have to put up with it smashing my desk to bits and shaking the monitors. Have i memtioned the bass? Nail everything down becuase it will rattle it. My monitor vibrates inside. Metal vibrating is annoying and pleasing as it reminds me of the car drivers in the 90s with vibrating number plates. I am 100% satisfied with what i bought. MUSic was never a reason to buy this and i am fussy. I bought it for gaming and it is like wearing headphones that massage your whole body and house. BULLETS, SCREAMS, HELICOPTERS FOOTSTEPS andmother soundmeffect are perfect. Earthquake incoming. O no its just the speakers. Buy this and enjoy the small footprint and massive sound output. If your looking for soumd perfection these not for you. If your looking for excitement andshow off factor these are a must. final note i dropped one of the speakers from about 1.5 meters onto hard floor. No damage. These are solid metal. The price ismhard tomquantify. Would i have been happt paying less jf they were made from plastic? Nope. I do wish they had a speaker gril cover. Will ma,e my own shortly and velcro attach. This is to avoid little fingers from visitors poking them. Buy these and have a great exciting time. Ps if you connect to pc via the optical input you cznt use the synapse app to control speakers. I use the app on mobile. I dont need a dedicated remote to add to the pile of ones in my draw

Great speakers, but unfortunately mine were defective.
The speaker sound amazing and I would highly recommend for sound quality. However, mine broke shortly after purchase and I had to return them. It may have just been a defective item.

Powerful! Back a punch! Strongly recommended end
Received these yesterday and damn they are powerful. These will fill most your house let alone a bed room or an office. Booming base and the two desk speakers reproduce the songs I play really well. I would say ignore the THX and the Dolby settings. They sound strange... I set mine to a custom eq but started with the music setting which didn’t sound too bad. The only feature I wish they had was RCA input. Instead I have had to run a RCA to 3.5mm jack from my turn table. But optical from the TV and usb from the pc work perfectly. It’s a lot of money but you won’t regret them!
