I’m using this in a large (~350 sq. ft.) bedroom that is far away from the home AC unit, and the duct work in our house is terrible, so the temp in our bedroom in the summer is always 4-5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We use this portable unit to reduce the temp the rest of the way. Works perfectly, and I don’t wake up at night sweating anymore! I couldn’t say if it would cool the room 100% in the dead heat of the summer, but it’s the perfect supplement when the central AC doesn’t do the full job. The only negative comment is that it was kind of annoying to vent it out the window, and I felt like I needed to supplement the window kit with some weather stripping, weather proofing, and special locks to feel safe and protected from the outside elements. But once I got it set up, I love it!

Makes a huge difference in upstairs room which can sometimes be 10 degrees warmer. Can be a little loud to get used to but then blends in as white noise to fall asleep to. Can set desired room temp like a thermostat. Easy to set up and run.

This air conditioner appears to be well made. My issue was the Vent hose was not long enough and the window guard that fits exhaust peice was too long to fit the window. Allow space around unit when measuring to fit in the room you choose.

Works absolute wonders! Chills the room very well, sometimes a little too well, lol. My bedroom has little insulation as it’s a reformed attic so in the Summer when it’s above 70F outside, the room always feels extremely hot and muggy as all the cool air from the house escapes from the roof of my room. I’ll wake up sweating and have a hard time sleeping during the day (I work third shift). This aircon has been such a wonderful and welcome change. The only thing I will say, make sure to get some duct tape, or a thicker hose, to keep the hose in place on the unit as it started falling out due to the unit kicking out warm air. But other than that, I have no complaints and the unit works very well.

Dislike the cost of the item that has hardly a few hours on it. Compressor runs a few minutes and then shuts off and on continuously.

It runs quiet still after several months, of course it took sometime to cool down the temperature as it is for local concentrate air system, but it did a great job to keep the small bedroom cool during the most hot summer.

It worked ok for the first year, wasn’t even used much, this year, it’s struggling. I just bought a window unit after this heat wave.

Love it for the price and it was a life saver this summer
