Perfect for running under a rug!
Because we have a couch with end tables floated in the middle of a room, we had no light from the lamps on the tables because of a lack of outlets and a fear of running an electric cord under the rug. An electrician, called for another problem entirely, recommended using an ultra flat cord. This one worked like a charm, running from the outlet and then under a table and the rug and pad. There’s no lump at all.

Still noticeable
We recently purchased a sofa that has electric recliners. The sofa is not against a wall so we needed an extension cord to run underneath our rug to our sofa. Our rug is not plush and the cord is noticeable underneath. Otherwise the item works as intended. I was just hoping for something less conspicuous. Maybe if you have thicker or fluffier carpet it won’t show.

Perfect!
These are absolutely perfect for the old house I’m renting. Bedroom has 3 walls with outlets. But in order to have the AC in it’s own outlet (to prevent overheating), I suddenly didn’t have an outlet for my tv and Roku to be plugged into. Can’t plug a power strip into a power strip so the super long power strip cord is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend to everyone!

Wrong connections
We obviously didn't check properly at the time of purchase but this isn't for UK. Couldn't be bothered with the faff of returning.
