how does this affect the trans namely g56 in cold weather? Im in PA the trans is in a plow truck

My truck is a 2016 Ram 2500 diesel with g56. I've noticed in cold weather (down in the teens) it is significantly harder to shift. as soon as it warms up from driving a few miles it is easier to shift
