Probably not a tool I need or use very often but for the price it is still a great bargain. I have recently got into a lot of home solar panel DIY, so I have been needing to crimp a lot of power cables (0 gauge). This crimping tool works great and I notice a big difference using this compared to just hammering the terminals flat with a hammer. Seems to be made of good quality that will last and withstand the high impact when hammering/crimping the ends.

I am pretty impressed with this. I am installing a electric winch on my flatbed trailer and wanted to do a good job with the wires but did not want to spend a lot of money on an expensive crimping tool that I would only use once or twice. This one is priced really low but the quality of the tool and the end result make it an awesome investment. The overall crimping power is really noteworthy. I am super happy with how my job turned out and HIGHLY recommend this tool. wow this is awesome for wire jobs. I needed to fix a wire on my battery and this tool made the job very simple. This is a tool that will last forever and will do the job right every time. Hands down a quality product and very useful

It worked as intended. Altough as some stated the crimp is not completely centered but at the price and simplicity of using this product it's worth this little flaw.

I have about a dozen connections to crimp for my campers battery system. Im using 8 gauge stranded wire. I really can't justify spending the money for a regular crimper for how few I'm likely to do in my lifetime. This thing did a great job! It's heavy and appears to be built well. I'd say it takes 30 seconds for stripping the wire, twisting all the strands into a nice tight bundle, inserting the wire into the ring terminal and poinding the crimp. I couldn't be more pleased with it's function and the price was very reasonable.

I've always struggled getting a connector on a battery cable. This crimper works like a charm, though!Use; I put it on a solid base, I keep a 10 pound short handled hammer for a backing weight, the use a 4 pound hammer to strike it. One hit, solid crimp every time! The plunger is spring loaded, so you get the terminal in place and it's held there by the spring. Hold the cable right where you want it and Blam! Crimped!It's heavy, but very compact. I keep mine in my electrical toolbox, which isn't nearly as big as I'd like, but it's small so I'm ok with it. This way it's always there when I need it.
