What a nice steamer basket! We'll made stainless steel with nice features. Handle in middle is heat resistant for easy, safe removal and the legs are fold instead of the cheep ones that always lose one leg. Good purchase, great price

Best darn little stove top steamer!
I'm on my second one, but this one came with extra screws and a little philips head screwdriver. So I'm prepared if one of the screws should come lose or lost. My last one lasted for a good two years and it would still be perfectly good if I hadn't lost one screw. There are three screws that attach to the green handle. I use this steamer primarily to steam hard boiled eggs. It fits down perfectly into a certain saucepan that allows me to do 6-7 eggs at a time. I love it. AMZ also sells a great microwave steamer as well.

Overall I like it
I ordered this because I like the green handle. My old steamer just had a metal ring that would get sooo hot. I only have two reasons why I gave three stars. First, I hope they improve the way you attach the green handle. It was so hard to screw in place. Screws were teeny and hard to hold it all in place but I got it attached eventually. My other concern is it says In the directions that incomplete cleaning may result in rust but this says it’s stainless steel and stainless steel doesn’t rust. Not sure if maybe it’s not stainless? I do like the little padded feet and can’t wait to use it.

Love this steamer! Works beautifully in my medium sized pot. East to wash & pack away in cupboard. High stainless steel, no black in it after washing. Would highly recommend.
