Excellent quality and built. Unfortunately did not work on my Subaru xv 2021 model as this is the model of the old Subaru xv 2017 to 2020.

I read a few reviews that said the packaging was bad and pieces were missing so I was pretty worried. The box did come a bit beat up, but that's understandable due to how heavy the tow hitch is. They wrapped up and tapped the bag with all the hardware very well to the tow hitch so none of the parts were missing for me.I installed everything myself and was not too bad overall. I didn't want to cut into the frame mainly because I didn't have a dremel. Even though all the tutorials out there tell you to drill into the frame, the Subaru dealer told me they remove the bumper for installation so I went that route. It took about an hour to remove the bumper, but know that I know how to, it would probably take me less than 20 minutes. Installation was easy, and I was able to lift one side with my thigh while installing the nuts on the other side. I would recommend this tow hitch to others. The dealer charges $450 for the tow hitch and $450 for installation so $120 + DIY installation is a big win :)If anyone removes the bumpers, just be careful not to break any of the clips around the top of the bumper. They are very easy to pull off gently except for the clips right above the top center. I had to get under the car, pull up on the bottom of the bumper, and reach towards the inside of the bumper and gently push outwards. You can see where the clips are attached if you go under the car. There were two push pins that I broke around the wheel assembly, but those are easily replaceable.

My rating is based on quality and ease of install. It took me about an hour start to finish to take of everything needed and install the hitch. As another reviewer stated, I went the remove bumper route as well. As I write this I still need to put my bumper back on 😂. Definitely looking forward to carrying bikes or cargo.

Il devrais avoir 4 broches au lieu de 2 pour faciliter l’installation. J'ai déjà installé 3 autres hitch dans le passé et il fournissait 4 broches, une pour chacun des boulons. Dans ce modèle 2 boulons sont pas évident à ''torqué'' lorsque que l'on n"est pas sur un lift.
