I’m genuinely disappointed with Dermaflage. This product does not work, at least not in any practical or user-friendly way. The instructions are vague and confusing, especially around mixing. It never clearly explains how much to use, what the consistency should look like, or how to get it right. You’re basically guessing from the start, which already sets you up for failure. The video tutorials are confusing. Then there’s the application itself. When I tried to apply it, the applicator actually broke and slipped out and made a mess on my bathroom which made an already frustrating process worse. Even when it stayed together, the product didn’t apply smoothly or do what it claims. There are way too many steps for something that should be simple. Most people just want a one-step or two-step solution—apply it, cover it, maybe set it, and move on. This product is the opposite of that. It’s complicated, messy, and ineffective. Bottom line: this feels like a waste of money. Too many steps, poor instructions, flimsy applicator, and disappointing results. I’m not satisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward, reliable camouflage solution.

For 8 weeks I've been walking around with this terrible scar on my forehead. I've used Mederma, Scarguard, Liguid Band-Aid, silicone sheets, massage, roller, botox, and even nail polish to fill in this hideous depressed scar. I took the plunge and ordered this product and received it today. I had to patiently try it twice to get a good result. I finally ended up with something I felt good about going out in public with. My regret is dabbing a little concealer on it but it's definitely a much improved area. So costly and you do have to work fast. I used an applicator tip the first try. The tip is now filled and dried with unusable product. The second try, straight from the syringe. Mixed quickly and used the tool to spread a thin layer over the scar area and then quickly applied the pad and didn't move for exactly 2 minutes. BAM! The scar is almost untraceable. Today is the first day I've felt like myself in months! Be sure to use the pad during the product set in period. It's textured like skin and move quickly. Good luck to you. Darn scars!

I have a small indent on my face where an infected pimple had been and I got this to try to fill it. It does fill it in, but I can’t wear makeup with it. This product is beige colored but it doesn’t match my skin tone. And when it dries the edges come loose and it looks like peeling skin. No.., it looks like peeling latex on my face. And if I put makeup on it, it just looks splotchy on top of the scar filler. I’ve tried using it 4 or 5 times and tried to keep it inside the indent so the edges wouldn’t look like they’re peeling away but it doesn’t work. When you use the purple pad to smooth it, it spreads it out and you end up with the thin edges that don’t stick. I don’t recommend this product

to hard to do if you just need a quick fix this isnt it . to many steps to do and wait time

Edit: I’ve been using this a few days and it works ok. Mine was missing the purple sponge so I used a quartz face roller once it starts drying and it helps flatten it out. Edit 2: I’ve been using this product for six months now and it works great once you learn how to apply it. It does dry up within seconds in hot weather so you have to mix and apply it fast. Overall Ok grateful to have something that covers my scar. Edit 3: I’ve been using this product for a year and a half and I can’t live without it. It takes a lot of practice to apply it but after you get the application part down you’re good to go. I don’t think the negative reviews are from people who used it a long time. Instructions suck. Product comes with multiple tools and instructions say “you can use it however you want”. Tell me what needs to be mixed with what! What are the extra little things that look like they have product used for? How do you make a product like this without giving detailed instructions?! Mine was also missing the purple pad. Best of what I’ve tried for a circular scar. Tricky to manage. Definitely less product is required! Definitely, Use all the tools.

I have a scar on my nose from Mohs surgery. There is an indentation in my nose where the tissue was removed. This product is working very well on filling in the indentation. Read the other reviews on how to use. It is good to use a toothpick to mix it, and also when you're done to put a toothpick inside the 2 holes in the top to make sure they are clear. The Medium shade worked excellent on my fair skin, and does not show at all. I am impressed!

This product does not work. I was skeptical at first but got drawn in by the handful of positive reviews on YouTube and demos. But yeah, seeing it in person makes a huge difference, the product does NOT blend. The instructions tell you to blend it but the product legit starts hardening within 10 seconds after mixing so its sorta like trying to smear on liquid latex. It just will start breaking apart immediately from trying to smoothen out the edges. The edges are absolutely visible and not believable or convincing at all. And depending on how the light hits your skin outside, it doesn't look like skin. Oh most like its too matte to be skin and youll have a little patch overly matte surface on your skin. Anyways im sorry people but there is no miracle cure for your scar as hard as it is to swallow that fact =( See a dermatologist, spend that $1k every 5 years for bellafill instead or a treatment plan with a medical professional in the field instead of trying to cover the issue with products like this. Save yourself the time and headache

I purchased this product to fill in the "elevens" (the two vertical lines between my eyebrows and for my smile lines. I wasn't sure what colour to select, but given that I have light skin with yellow tones, I chose fair. Fortunately, it was a good match. Dermaflage does what it says it does, but it requires a bit of practice to apply it properly. After several tries, I felt much more confident. A small amount goes a long way. The only real negative and surprise about this cover up product, is that you can't apply it and then cover it with make-up. (foundation) It would look better if you could bring your make-up over it for a seamless blending. (Are you listening, Dermaflage?)
