After 6 months, the leaves is about 12inches in diameter or equal to about 300 millimeters wide. Let me start by telling you that you need to cut off the pointed ends of the seeds it isn’t easy but it does make them spout within days! This picture above is day 3 since I put in water, you are going to want to change your water out daily, it needs to be in clean water, I plan on putting a couple of these in our fish tank it’s hood for the lotus flower and the fish in the tank. My suggestion to the company is to include instructions on growing. They are flourishing.I ordered these seeds rather than the more expensive ones because seeds should be somewhat the same...right? Turns out these are even better than the more expensive ones that require you to break them open (scarify.) They come pre drilled with a hole in the top of each one. Trust me, if you've ever tried to scarify hard seeds before, its really hard. I've torn up my fingers/nails trying to grind down hard seeds.I ordered these seeds on a Thursday. Got them on Saturday and each one was already sprouted by Wednesday. I put them in warm water in a clear vase and change the water every day. Its been a pleasant surprise to see how fast they grow. I only set 4 seeds to grow because I really only need 1. I'm hoping that I can grow the rest over the next few years. Apparently lotus seeds are viable for hundreds of years.
