It is recommended to replace the pump and flap at the same time since they have about the same longevity, so this kit was perfect! Overall it took about 30 minutes for me to install, which was largely due to having to make an adjustment for the fill level. My guess is a plumber can have it done in 10 minutes or less, but we saved money in this DIY kit and I was able to get it done and fix the leak. The fit was perfect, and the valve has an adjuster for the fill level. Overall this set appears very durable. Previously we had installed just the pump in a different toilet several years ago and it has worked so well that I was happy to see the manufacturer sells the pump along with the flapper in this kit.
