Tide Optics CineSoft® Subtle 1/8 Lens Filter Diffusion Mist Pro Dream Effect (52mm)

Th titles says it all. I've used a few others but this does a great job. I also have the K&F 1/4 which are great too but I was looking for something a bit less powerful. K&F do offer a 1/8 version too but I figured I'd give these a go and I'm very happy with them. Possibly not quite as good as the famous pro Mist filters but from the tests I've seen these hold their own exceptionally well. Great filters!

I love the magical effects of this filter so much I went and brought another of these and 2 of the full cine effect filters!Really breathtaking images in camera when im out shooting london and street photography.This does the job much better than other brands which are way overpriced!Keep it up guys!Id love to see you make some prism effects filters and some physical ones like raindrops on the lens etc.You guys are amazing !Buy these filters now!

I picked this filter up alongside the strong version for my video work. The subtle filter gives just enough of an effect to smooth out any skin, removing that overly sharp output of some digital cameras. For video, it is great on vlogging and wedding work, and photo just creates this magical dreamy look when strong highlights are in frame.

I was reluctant to spend big on a filter that I knew I’d use only occasionally. Have only used the filter a couple of times but so far I’ve been very pleased with the results. Although described as ‘subtle’ I would say that the filter has a noticeable and attractive effect. Glad I took a chance on Tide Optics.

The product is excellent and seems very robust. Although the glass seems like normal glass in certain lights it appears to have a texture to it. The filter itself fit seamlessly to the camera lens and creates a great effect on my photography. I went for the subtle version and it is perfectly named as I didn’t want too much of an effect on my photos.

This new subtle mist filter is much better than the previous version where sometimes the highlights would bloom too much but with this one it has been adjusted to be at a perfect range where the highlights are not glowing too much and making your image having a natural dreamy effect.

This stays on my lens for ALL of my shoots, I love these diffusion filters to bits. Well worth the money, Especially when it almost matches the quality of the black pro mist filters! If you like soft/cinematic shots, just buy this.

Great filter, used it for some street photography and wasn’t disappointed, creates a very lovely bloom effect that mirrors professional cinema cameras, would highly recommend!
