Good Grafting Tool, but not "Omega Style"
The tool works fine. I've done several grafts with it, and they look good, and have live buds. My one small complaint is that the tool makes a "U" shaped (or "cleft") cut, and not the "omega" shaped cut that it is advertised to make. The Greek letter Omega is shaped like an inverted horse shoe, which is the same shape that holds jig-saw puzzle pieces together. It holds scion wood to the rootstock very securely. The cut made by the Zenport tool is good enough, especially when wrapped tightly, but the tool should not be labeled "Omega Style" since it does not come with a blade that makes the Omega cut. I would like to be able to tell you how long the blades will remain sharp, but I don't know yet. Finally, no tool will teach you how to graft. You still have to choose a compatible host, cut the scion wood at the right time, store it in the refrigerator, select the right day for grafting, and seal the graft to prevent it from drying out.Update: I would now raise the rating to five stars. Although the cut is not omega-shaped, this tool handles scion wood that is too small for the Orange Grafting Tool, and in practice, I use the Zenport tool on about 80% of my grafts.

Zenport ZJ67 is a sturdy well made tool.
An easy to use tool that makes clean well fitting cuts. This should improve my grafting sucess. Might help to include includeinstructions for releasing the lock which I had assumed was only a stop, but I guess Im not as sharp as others.

but useless. Does NOT product an omega cut
Sexy gadget, but useless. Does NOT product an omega cut, notwithstanding its name. Will only cut well on larger stocks, and then the union falls apart. I tried stapling, fool's errand. I went back to knives. Too bad I did not read the off-Amazon reviews by people who know what they are doing before I shelled out the cash.

For small cuttings.
The unit works, and it easy to use. But, by primary issue is that the cut is designed for very small branches, and the tab is quite small for a good union. I suppose it would work for citrus, but my planned use with grapes ... not so well.

Great Product but..
Overall great product for beginners. However, there are a couple of flaws; 1) it is a little difficult to perform a graft cut on thin branches. 2) the tool is pretty big so if you are trying to graft on a planted tree there must be little to no branches around to perform the cut because of the size of the tool. 3) The pruner and omega style blade perform simultaneously, so there must be little to no branches around your graft otherwise you will cut other branches with the pruner.

Good Grafting Tool
I do like the idea behind the making of this tool. It is summer now so no grafting would be done, but I will try to update this review during the fall
