Let's get to the bad first: it is small. But that's not their fault, it was mine. I did not check the dimension. But... Here's the good: 1. Bright - lights a certain area really bright, but don't expect to light up your whole camp site. 2. Small - yes! The bad is also a good. You can pack this easily and carry it anywhere with mo problem. Why? 3. Lightweight - unlike others, they are a bit heavier but these are very light to carry. 4. Rechargeable - which is the reason why it is lightweight. No need to add battery, making it lightwieght. 5. Charger - and yes, it can give you a bit of a charge when you forget your charger or portable battery pack. I will be using this for my car'l, nothing else. I got my tire inflator, protable 12V battery charger, my tools and now this light completes my car's emergency kit. You know for those long drive with the family. Always good to have a complete emergency kit. Buy it, it won't disappoint.

Lantern is nice and small, 4.5" by 2" approximately. It is lightweight and has a handle to hold and hang it up with. The top of the lantern has a USB port for charging the lantern and a nice convenient port to charge your cell phone as well. It has four settings a bright, a medium bright, a fast blinking strobe and a slow blinking strobe all lights are white. It is compact and will fit in small areas like car glove box, emergency supplies, back packing gear, or in my case a go bag. I live in California where unfortunately in the last 4 years there's been a lot of fires and you must be ready to go in a moment; it fits in my bag and doesn't take too much space. Very reasonable price for two. Cannot go wrong with this lantern set.

Pictures show the difference between low light mode and high light mode in my bathroom, as well as how bright they are as a porch light during a power outage, and low and high next to each other. They take about 2.5hrs to charge fully. On brightest setting it stays at full brightness for 5hrs, but the lights slowly dim until they finally go out completely after another 4 hours. On the lowest lighting setting (which is still very bright) they stay on at their full brightness for 12.5hrs, and again slowly dim for another 4hrs til they go out. They also have an SOS flicker setting which could come in handy in an emergency camping situation. They are so lightweight I was able to hang them from my ceiling fans to fully light a couple rooms. As far as the power bank aspect I'm less impressed. First, one of the lanterns flicker between settings if you try to use the lantern and powerbank at the same time. Next, I was only able to get my dead phone to charge to 23% with the lantern fully charged and light off, so in an emergency you should be able to get enough of a charge to call for help. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will likely purchase more for next hurricane season. We got these after Hurricane Zeta knocked out most of the power in our city, and we found out it would be a week before we got it back! I had 4 other lanterns but it wasn't enough and candles aren't an option with small children. They arrived in a day and a half, so 4-5 days before we got power. We had a small generator to run our fridges and a fan so we also had a way to charge them.

This is a very useful, little lamp. It has a substantial output of light for its very small size (55mm diameter x 122mm height); is extremely light weight; and has a decent run time of more than 4 hours per charge. The illumination is soft, which makes for a good work lamp or reading light, and minimizes the amount of time for your eyes to re-adjust to seeing in the dark. The lamp is also water resistant, and has a useful, folding hanger. I would not completely immerse it under water, but it has no problem working in even very heavy rainfall. There’s even a USB port you can plug your iPhone or [other mobile device] charging cable in to if you need to draw back-up power [from the built-in battery] in a pinch. The power output and input ports have a sliding rubber cover / plug that keeps the lamp water resistant while the ports are not being used. To switch between the three, light-output intensity levels and the two strobe modes, you do not need to click the power button on and off. The instructions don’t mention this, but when the lamp is turned on, a 3/4 press on the power button will switch / cycle between the various light output modes. I like this feature. See pics: I 3D printed a snap-on, half-cover that reduces the light “throw” of the lamp from 360-degrees to 180-degrees. This is good for when you need to get close to your task and need to illuminate your work space without putting light directly into your eyes. I have built-in a 22mm high elevation to the base of my 3D printed demi-cover. This, combined with the 180-degree “light shield”, makes a nifty lamp for back-lighting 3D printed lithophanes! This is testament to the versatility and broad utility of this lamp. Last but not least, you get two lamps in the one purchase — one for you, and one for a friend! FWIW: I purchased the “lake blue” color option. It is a very pleasant color on the top and bottom caps of the lamp. Depending on the ambient light, it may appear as a “sea foam green” or “Tiffany blue.”

This is my third order of these terrific little lamps. I got one set for myself to keep in my storm bin along with external power supplies (charged) and spare charging cables for important electronics (iPhone, iPad, etc.) They are a great size and for being relatively small, they provide a lot of light and last a long time. They are small enough to carry around the house during a power failure. After ordering a set for myself, I gave a set to my best friend and recently sent a set to my son ahead of a hurricane predicted for his area. My set is at least 2 years old and all the lamps still work flawlessly. The little handle on top is well designed to stay out of the way unless needed to carry the lightweight lamp or to hang it.

The light is surprisingly bright for how small these lanterns are and price isn't bad. Things I do not like: small size, seem cheaply made not sure how long they will hold up, toggling through all the modes is utterly annoying to turn it off or put it on the mode you want, the hook to hang the light is very difficult to unlatch from its place on top of the lantern to actually hang the light. The protective rubber flap that keeps the charging port water resistant has came off somewhere during a camping trip

Work great hold a good charge. Very easy to use and it was worth the cost. Nice size.

I never realized just how much light these really give off until last week thepower went out . For being about the size of z Coke can they really do the job.

I purchased these as a standby light in case we have power cuts etc. they came charged up so I could test them right away and I was impressed with the amount of light they gave out. Obviously the real test comes when it’s dark. They were even more impressive. They are small and light weight. They can also give you an emergency charge to your mobile phone. While I haven’t tried that out, it’s nice to know that if you need a charge to summon help then these little things will do that as well. They have a handle for carrying them or hanging them up in a tent or wherever really. Nice enough to recommend to other members of the family.

I’ve been looking for a way to highlight my new fire installation. With a worry about heat and the cost of power I decided to try and find something rechargeable and these seemed ideal. Also they are floor standing so can be placed in a cool area, are narrow and bright and not expensive. They can still be used outside and for camping! So this was straight out of the packet and not fully charged, nor was it really dark outside to get the full effect. I like them and they are exactly what I needed.
