Water Flow Meter RV Hose Meter Flowmeter with Quick Connectors, Measure Gallon Liter Usage and Flow Rate for Garden Faucet, Plant, Flower, Sprinkler, Swimming Pool

I really haven't had this unit long enough to write a review, but so far it seems superior to a previous type of meter I bought on Amazon. So why write a review so soon? I received a letter in the mail asking me to write a 5-star review in exchange for a $40 Amazon gift card. Sorry, you can't buy my reviews.That being said, I still like the water meter. I only use it to keep track of how much water I'm putting down on new shrubs, I have a brown thumb and this meter is the only way to do that. A previous meter I purchased on Amazon had an issue that made it unusable with a watering wand. If I just attached that meter directly to the hose it was fine, but when adding a wand or nozzle to the outlet side of the meter water sprayed everywhere. This Irribiz unit's housing is one-piece and seems better engineered.

I used this to fill up a 1 gallon container and it showed the exact amount. Seems to be very accurate. I have been using it for about 2 months now and the battery is still fine. I do like how it turns off to conserve the battery, but once water starts flowing through it has a memory and turns back on to the last setting. This is much needed for when I fill my travel trailer water holding tank. Now I know exactly how much I am adding before I leave! I recommend and would buy again!

This is a nice little flow meter. Rate seems fairly accurate (didn't thoroughly test it, however) - it measures flowrate, cumulative flow for this session, cumulative flow total and average flow. Units are select-able between gal/min and L/min. It even includes some quick disconnect adapters (and even Teflon tape!). Unfortunately, when it arrived, the CR2032 battery that was included was dead. Fortunately, I had some extra CR2032s laying around, so it wasn't a huge issue, but others may not have these batteries on hand, so I deducted 1 star for this oversight.

The device arrived with the battery installed which was okay. I carefully read the instructions as to which way the water flow should be. It seemed incorrect then I realized I didn't switch it from liters to gallons! Then I saw an arrow on the back of it that showed flow so connected it up that way. Pretty accurate, only off by 10 percent at a low flow rate of 2 1/2 gallons a minute. Perfectly acceptable. I ended up using my existing quick connects rather than ones that they supplied and connecting it directly to a hose, so I didn't have to change my whole Quick Connect system around. Other units I tried did not have that capability. Seems sturdy enough, but one must handle the connection group with care as it does make a long connection between the hose and the root feeder. This will really help me make sure that my new trees get the amount of water weekly that they need!

I bought the IRRIBZ Water Meter for two reasons. First reason was for my above ground pool and the second reason for my 40 foot class A motorhome.Living in Arizona during the summer time can get my above ground pool water very hot, 100 degrees F is normal for the months of July and August time frame. We need to empty some of the water from the pool to cool the pool down to swim. By having the IRRIBZ water meter assures me of just the correct amount of water to be added back to the pool which in turn allows balance of the pool chemicals easier.For the motorhome, filling the fresh water tank is something that care must be done if you are on the road driving. Too full of a water tank when driving can cause water to splash out of the overflow and flood one or more of the storage areas. Having put just enough water in without guessing makes driving more pleasant and a safe experience. Thank you IRRIBZ for your water meter.

We purchased this to help us backflush our RV gray and black tanks. No more trying to estimate how much water is going into them. The only challenge is keeping the meter on gallons instead of litres. Oh well, just have to be better at using metric. Overall, it is doing exactly what we needed it to do.

Seems to work well. The plastic its made of seems to be pretty decent. I would expect it to last a season or two. No idea how accurate it is but a ballpark estimate seems to make it seem fairly close....

This does what it says, but flimsy and added quic connects are useless (multiple inputs should have been included instead of multiple outputs). If you want a one time measurement this works well.
