I have waited a while before reviewing this couch cover and am pleased to say it has passed the tests. The belt keeps the top in place so if you have a heavy bodied dog that thinks the couch is his own personal bed like my guy, you will need to readjust the arm cover sections and the part that covers the seat cushions but it is a quick process. It straightens out quickly and easily and looks good. I purchased one that is as close to the couch color as possible so it blends in with the couch instead of standing out; as a result it is less noticeable. I have washed it three times and it comes out of the machine's bulky setting clean as new. I then put it into the dryer on the Permanent Press cycle so it does not get totally dry but is dry enough to drape over a couch in another room to finish drying. One feature I really like is the length of the arm covers on each end; they cover the arms completely and still have plenty of fabric available to tuck them in deeply too. It is well made; does not slip around much and offers protection for your couch to keep it safe from dog prints, etc.

I was hesitant about buying this slipcover due to the width supposedly being for a 78" sofa. Well, my 3-cushion span is only 73" so I was anticipating way too much fabric that I would have to tuck but was willing to give it a try. It arrived the next day and it fits perfectly with no tucking needed. It covers my entire sofa so my dogs can't scratch the fabric. I was previously using an oversized blanket and was always having to retuck and straighten out as one playful outing with them would pretty much ball up an entire area. This slipcover is PERFECT! The fabric is very nice and durable. Living in Florida, I know the blanket would be warm for my pups to lay on (they love looking out the front window on the back of the sofa), but the fabric of this slipcover seems to be very comfortable for both of my pups. Also, there is no slippage, or very minimal, when they run and play and jump from floor to sofa and back to the floor. The strap along the back is very secure and I have not had the back slip off whatsoever. Shades of green are very difficult to match and my sofa/chair/ottoman set is a based yellowish green so it's a little lighter than a hunter green and has a tint of a grayish green. This slipcover matches very well. The underside, although is supposed to be a sage green to me is really a beige/khaki shade instead of a green but it would pretty much match anything so I am very pleased. The seller has been in contact with me via emails to make sure I am happy with the product...they were great to work with as well. Bottom line: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We’ve been through 4 different couch covers and this one is by FAR the best. The material is durable but still soft enough. It is flexible when you are on it, but stays and fits well on the couch. Hides the pet hair really well and it’s easy to vacuum still (yes, I vacuum my couch - too many pets)! It looks great and we finally found a cover that works just as well. We tried the gorilla grip velvet plush but the backing was too much and wasn’t flexible enough to allow movement on the couch without pulling tensions on another part somewhere. We love this so much we bought a second so we can rotate out weekly!! Update - we've gone back to no couch cover and vacuuming the couch daily. I dropped it down to 4 stars because it was the best out of the options we had tried, but it doesn't completely stay in place. If you are a neat freak like me, it will bother you having to adjust it after anyone gets up or animal has dismantled. The cover was best of the 4 different ones we tried, but ultimately, I ended up taking it off. If you have animals that get dirty/wet a lot, I would still recommend this cover as it will help keep your couch clean. I would also recommend buying two and alternating them - I swapped them out twice a week and it was nice not having to leave the couch bare while one was in the wash.

Our dogs love it! Less worried bout leaving the dogs out when we leave for a few hours. Looks great when couch isn't being used too. Super glad it's water proof and washable! The only complaint we have is it's hard to keep in place. Every time we get up it has to be adjusted. It's aggravating but still worth it not having dog mishaps on our couch!

I have a long sofa which I love. I also have three dogs who I love (2 good-sized boys & a young doxy-mix girl). The comfy sofa in front of the large window is their go-to place. Long ago, I removed the large overstuffed back pillows in favor of more room on the cushions and a sleeker sofa profile. It's almost Romanesque in shape now. I was concerned about the back piece for slipcovers since my sofa back is almost non-existent. Comforters have been my protection from shedding and dirty doggy feet, but they always look so rumpled and messy, despite my efforts. Humans like to use the sofa too, so I wanted something which could make us all happy and certainly make the sofa more inviting to my human guests. I literally POURED over the slip-cover choices here on Amazon and read the reviews diligently. What attracted this slipcover was that the quilting was accomplished with some type of large embossing press rather than done with thread. No thread to be shredded by doggy nails. My new slipcover arrived earlier today and I wasted no time trying it out. The first photo is obviously before - pretty sad. The second photo is obviously after - pretty great! As you can see, I tucked the side covers under the cushions. Also, I had enough slipcover to tuck the front underneath the cushions (actually under plywood under the cushions; this was added to give some more support as well as provide a place to tuck comforter ends). No worry about the slip cover panel meant for the back of the sofa. My low sofa back meant more panel to tuck into the sofa. I could not be more pleased. Yes, my dogs' love of their sofa perch means I will always have to adjust the sofa to tidy it up from time to time, but the weight and seeming durability of this slipcover means my living room will now always looks so much nicer than it did before AND my dogs will still have their fave spot in the house to hang out. Everybody wins! UPDATE: I have had the cover for 6 weeks or so and cannot believe how well it has done. It STAYS PUT - pretty amazing for three dogs jumping on and off constantly during any day. It still looks as fresh as it did when I took it out of the box too. I am beyond pleased and so grateful! UPDATE: With some trepidation, I finally took off the cover and threw it in the washer and then the dryer. I just took it out and it looks completely brand-new! With 12 doggie feet on it each day 8 of which belong to two shedding canines, I am amazed at how incredible the cover looks and how it has held up. No more lumpy sofa on which humans don't want to sit! Woohoo!
