Devardi Glass COE 90 Premium Hi - Def Millefiori 4 Ounces, Mix #1, Assorted Colors Fusing, Mosaic

i don’t think these are 90 COE as I used them once on a large project and the glass cracked in almost every spot it came into contact with my bullseye sheet glass, depite being fired according to recommendations. It’s very disappointing as these are millefiori are really quite beautiful.

The craftsmanship is spot on. Color combos are Stunning!!

These are not 90 coe. Not sure what coe they are. Shattered in the kiln firing with other 90 coe glass that came out perfect.

Thrilled with this item. Big, bulky pieces. No chips or broken pieces. Great for fused glass pendants.

These are quite attractive and have a good variety of patterns in the package. But they have caused cracking in several medium (2-3 inch) projects in which they have been incorporated with Bullseye COE 90 glass. While not all of the projects have cracked, when they do crack it is near these pieces and enough have cracked to suspect that the coefficient of expansion of these are not a good match to COE 90 glass.

I purchased a 5 ounce package of these murrina to fuse into kiln formed glass pieces (tableware, art pieces, jewelry, and sun catchers) with COE 90 sheet glass, frit, stringers, and confetti. My purchase arrived quickly and was well packed. It weighed exactly 5 oz. and contained about 210 pieces with only 2 broken pieces. There were many duplicates of colors and designs (I was hoping for more variety), and lots of opaques(I was hoping for more transparent colors). Most were either traditional flower designs or concentric circles in a "bull's eye" design. They would be good for non-fired applications like mosaics. because they do NOT have sharp edges and, while they are not exactly the same height, are more uniform in height than others manufacturers I have purchased. I have not yet fired them, and will update this post after I see if they "play well with others."

This product is NOT compatible with COE 90 Bullseye glass. Checked this with polarizing filter. See picture for stress on glass. It did arrive very fast. Too bad it will not work. Note the bright fringes around the Murrine. There should be on fringe at all if it is compatible.
