This book is well written and nicely illustrated in color. For children it is easy to read and understand. The examples made learning easy and fun as they all had step-by-step instructions. My son enjoyed the tests also. It has given him a great start and confidence with the abacus.I highly recommend this book.

Pleasantly and clearly illustrated ..... this book instantly de-mystifies the abacus .... and then goes on, to explain its processes in logical and easily-digested steps.Could hardly be better!

Lovely book. The illustrations help a lot. For some people numbers can be a little dry and boring. I find this makes anything to do with numbers hard to learn. By the way I'm not a kid. I bought this product to help familiarise me with the soroban and this book does the job nicely.
