Review: This could just be my bad luck/inexperience, but I could not for the life of me get these transceivers to work. I've double-checked my wiring, tried a different arduino DUE, and probed every pin, but no matter what I do the basic ping-pong CAN test won't work. Apparently I should've read more carefully online — I've seen in at least two places that this type of transceiver model is unreliable. I'm going to try out the SN65HVD230 transceiver instead, hopefully that ends up working.

This CAN transceiver needs a CAN controller to work. esp32 has the controller built in. Also I only got it to work with 5v. Tested with ESP32CAN.h and the library examples that were included.

This could just be my bad luck/inexperience, but I could not for the life of me get these transceivers to work.
