A little gem of a book
The images are glorious and the gentle tale of the sweet little owl learning his value is precious.

LOVE the Knight Owl! When we first received this book we were a little disappointed as it arrived damaged, but that was easily fixed with a quick return and the kids have loved this ever since! The story is charming and heartwarming, with a message about courage and determination, no matter how small you are! It's great for young readers, or for the whole family, and the illustrations are just beautiful!

Simple story meshed with charming illustrations. Night owl is cute without being too cutesy, and the dragon is huge and imposing without being too scary. Love the darkness and detail and expressions that invite closer looks. Starting to get burnt out on the bright, personality-less AI type kids' books with bland bright illustrations as well as the overly profound precious super artistic ones that appeal to grownups a lot more than children. IMO this one is just right for older toddlers on up to elementary.
