FANGS, Volume 2

The story just keeps me wanting more! I can't wait to see the drama that unfolds in volume 3 with Ichii's ex aka his pair poping up of all a sudden. I also want to point out the author's creativity. As an artist/author myself, I never thought of vampires being able to use their blood on mirrors made of silver to created "Blood Mirrors" so they can see them reflections. I might have to use this in the future with my own vampire book, but of course, I'd changed it up a little bit. Lol

To start off this is an erotic homosexual manga. So it's good to know that. This is the second book in the series (and currently the most recent as of this review) and it's in English and it reads back to front. I don't want to give the story away but basically most vampires are trying to live peacefully and they have their own community system and police force in order to enforce this. They pair up with other single vampires and feed from one another in order to avoid murdering humans and of course this gets sexual. I like the artwork because it's clear and easy to see what's going on. The panels have the correct amount of shading and lines without it being too dark. Manga can really get ruined when the visuals are so dark you can't tell what's going on. There are some close-ups but you can still easily follow what's going on without getting confused at what you're looking at. The artwork is also nice enough that you can actually tell one character from another. Personally I always hate it when all the characters look exactly the same especially when it's in black and white so you can't see the hair color but this one's pretty easily distinguishable. If you like boy love manga this is definitely a good one. It is an erotic manga but of course they blur things out or they use convenient light strips or whatever as usual but it does have an actual plot to it as well. And for those of you who like the gore, it does appear that there's going to be some of that in this series although there's only two books out so far so we've yet to see. I actually thought that this was only a two book of series because I researched it before purchasing and it said that they were only two books and it was complete but the second one is left on a cliffhanger so I'm assuming there's going to be a third one. Also when I went to the actual author's page it said that they were continuing it but it was very conflicting information so I hope they continue this series. This is a good series if you like vampire stories without it being 100% gore and if you like boy love erotic manga without the whole thing just being about sex. It is a wonderful mixture of both and I can't wait for the next book.

This series is really good! The book came quick and in perfect quality

Overall, I liked this story. It's a nice twist on BL x Vampire fantasy. Vol 2 ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next installment. Only main complaint about the series is that the story moves very quick and it seems like there are a lot of loose plot holes/gaps in background information on the characters. Maybe this is coming in later volumes but its more noticeable in vol 2. Still really enjoyed the story. Warning: it is explicit BL content but not as much as you'd think - its sprinkled in conservatively throughout the 2 volumes.

I know the 3rd volume comes out this year, but I can't find release dates or preorders anywhere. Ugh I can't wait to read more... So well written. Cute, sexy and has a solid plot. 🥰

This is the best series I’ve ever read !!

I read the first volume of FANGS and I loved it, so I was super excited when volume 2 came out. I loved it and am excited to continue the story with volume 3.

Buena historia y la estética del manga impecable. El único pero que le pongo es que está en emisión y soy ansia viva por querer saber el final.

Joking aside, the journey with newborn vampire En, his handler Iichi & the world of “Fangs” continues in Volume 2 & it doesn’t disappoint. Their relationship is evolving & the mystery of how En became a vampire is being to unravel. As a veteran Fujoshi, I’m surprised by the “Dubious Consent” disclaimer. It turns out to be “Just a Dream” so it’s nothing to what I’m already used to, but happy to see how much the BL genre has been growing & changing in the last 60 years

Nice manga but the cover is a bit cheaper than in shop

Haven't started volume 2 yet, but volume 1 was really good, and I can't wait to find time to read this one.
