Extremely dissapoited.
I deliberately bought expensive ice maker to assure I get quality. It arrived, I opened it. Not working! No ice but water. From second it was on. Too expensive for such a disappointment. Please replace.

Super nice to have this! The pros outweigh the negatives.
I've been without an ice maker for a long time. It's always a chore to go get ice and no one wants to do it, especially at the times it is needed. This little guy has been a game changer. It's compact and works pretty quickly. I'm not sure about competitors as this is the first time for a purchase like this.I say two things that are a bit negative. It doesn't store the ice it makes well. It has a flimsy little plastic lid and a very hot little engine. So, the ice is always very watery and melting. I've tried to keep the vent fan free of any items covering it. If you put this in your freezer, it will become one big blob and require some work to separate it. Not that big of a deal quite honestly. The other thing is that is pretty loud. It's not so bad when it's making the ice, but it's really loud when it is pully the water up through it, especially if it doesn't have enough water for the next cycle of ice. It really let's you know it's not happy. But, all in all, it was WELL worth the money and as I said, quite a game changer. I recommend.

Ice a plenty!
Works great! Even better since I use filtered water!

Very Easy to Use, but kind of bulky
Soooo...Thought this would be more convenient since I am in an apartment and have to make my own ice, but it's a scheduled process for me.It is a bit bigger than I expected....I only use the large setting, because the ice melts too darn fast when using the small size. I did notice that I need it to make 2 batches before I actually froze the ice it made because it needed to get as cold as possible to make the biggest size to wear it wont melt so fast with my drinks. It is nice to have, but every time it makes a batch, I have to place it in the freezer because it begins to melt in its basket. Then it begins to stick together in the freezer. Found my method to keep them froze and separated, but causes me to take the ice out after done and immediately freeze it. Note, I make a bucket of ice each week before the work week for my iced coffee and iced teas I take to work in the am.
