If you have one that is accessible, and you are able to flush it with water, I would be concerned about water getting into places it shouldn't. Mainly getting into the blower motor, which could create issues with the bearing getting rusted and making noise, or seizing up. **Q: Can I use this in my window ac unit in my home?** A: I don't know for sure, but my first thought is that it probably would not work very well. The evaporator on a car is somewhat contained. So the foam will fill the case, and cover the evaporator.
